Chapter 5-Let's go brother Ping

Liao Ping then headed toward the sect and as he walked around most people ignored him. He didn't care about it so he went straight towards the missions pavilion, which was a pavilion that had disciples walking/hurrying out of and he knew an elder that worked there. "Hello there Elder Tyrant"

"Oh, well if it isn't Liao Ping, what are you coming here this time for?" "I came to give you this" he handed over a pill bottle to Elder Tyrant "what are these for?" "these are my admission for ranking up to a 2nd tier alchemist" "oh so these are for those old guys to inspect. Then just know that you will have to show the other elders including myself how you created these" "Okay" then he goes to the mission board to pick a mission that is acceptable for his cultivation realm and he picks the mission called 'hunt down the venomous white snake that has been terrorizing the woods in the East mountains' then goes to Elder Tyrant to approve of his mission, "You can go as long as you're prepared" "I am" "Good but do be careful" then Elder Tyrant looks over at another disciple who is heading out to somewhere else and starts his task of approving and disapproving.

Liao Ping goes to Bronze Dragon Peak first to tell his teacher that he will be out of the sect doing a mission then he goes to his hut to make some foundation replenishment pills then he goes out and heads toward the sect entrance. When he shows up there is a crowd around the entrance, he noticed that a female disciple and a male disciple was quarreling at the entrance,

"Xu Huo! Our relationship is over!"

"Xing Xing, listen, that wasn't me who you saw!"

"Don't call me Xing Xing! Call me Xing Yuwen!" "Sister Yuwen, that wasn't me" "Stop talking to me! We're not dao companions anymore!" as they quarreled on, people were mumbling at the gossip of Xu Huo and fairy Xing Yuwen breaking up. Liao Ping watched everything unfold like a script then made his judgment on the relationship as well as the people involved, 'This Xu Huo seems genuinely miserable about the fact that his relationship with this so-called fairy ended' mumbled Liao Ping. 'She's a horrible person to become dao companions with' mumbled the guy who heard him. "Why do you say that?" as Liao Ping turns around to see another male disciple and himself staring at each other, "It's because she's genuinely not interested in that male disciple called Xu Huo" he replied. "I'm Liao Ping from Bronze Dragon Peak" "I am Lui Xuegang from Silver Dragon Peak" "Nice to meet you" "Same" then Lui Xuegang proceeded to silently stare at Liao Ping for a while as Liao Ping did the same.

"You're a very interesting person, brother Ping" "The same could be said for you too, brother Xuegang" they both continue to stare at each other until he notices that the crowd is slowly disappearing, "We'll meet again if fate allows it, brother Ping" then heads toward the West through the Sect entrance. Liao Ping takes out a sheepskin and notes down 'Lui Xuegang as an intelligent and observable person' then puts it away while looking for Xu Huo who is now listlessly walking away into the sect. He starts jogging up to Xu Huo who looks defeated from losing his 'lover' and is slowly heading to White Dragon Peak to ask his master, what went wrong in his relationship with Xing Yuwen, "Yo, brother Huo, I am Liao Ping from Bronze Dragon Peak" "Oh, brother Ping, what is it?" "I heard that you are free, so let's go do a mission together" "I don't want to do a mission right now" "If you aren't agreeing then I will just take you along with me to the missions pavilion" then he proceeded to drag Xu Huo to the missions pavilion and got him to be assigned to the same mission as him, "Elder Tyrant! I came back with someone who wanted to go along with me!" "Oh? Who?" then looked at the dizzy Xu Huo "He's shy so I had to bring him along" "He can be taken as long as you can get the gall bladder of the venomous white snake within a week" "I can promise that as long as you watch over my juniors" "deal" than before Xu Huo can say anything he is dragged away by Liao Ping.

When they reach the sect entrance, Liao Ping stops running and lets him regather himself. "Why did you ask the elder of the missions pavilion to let me go on a mission with you!" "I didn't even want to go on one!" "You better have a good reason why you dragged me along!" "My reason for dragging you along is simple" "Simple? then tell me the reason why!" "Alright, the reason why I dragged you along is that I wanted to be there for you when you had lost your 'lover' so that you can be there when someone else is in the same situation" "You dumbass" mumbled Xu Huo who was shaking, on the verge of tearing up. But held his tears back and stood up to say, "Brother Ping, I can't thank you enough for hearing what you have just said so could you say it again into this recording jade" "Alright" then Liao Ping said the exact sentence he said to Xu Huo but this time it was recorded in a recording jade. "Thank you brother Ping" "You're welcome but now let us head off toward the east to do our mission" "Let's go brother Ping" then they started walking toward the east from the sect entrance.

Xing Yuwen was walking toward the Black Dragon Sect to meet her new 'lover' Liang Xinyi. She is currently wondering if he is happy or if he has something for her. When she arrives and meets him,

"Your new task will be to get to the Divine Lantern Realm before I assign you to anything" "Okay" mumbled Xing Yuwen. Then she left and hurried toward the Immortal Dragon Sect.
