Chapter 3-Didn't he tell you?

Liao Ping is heading towards the sect and immediately remembers that he has some books that have been worn out so he takes them out of his storage treasure and flips through the pages as he inspects to see if any pages are in good condition. He then puts them back in his storage treasure while taking out one of the new books he bought and starts reading the book titled, 'How to make girls fall for you!', in the first section it lists out problems that most people have with their relationships i.e trust issues, cheating/affairs, status, and desires.

The second section talked about what men had to do in a relationship which was observed the other party's facial expressions, respond with what they want to hear, and note what they like and dislike. Then the rest of the book went into the types of women one can encounter i.e an ice queen, assertive type, shy type, etc then gave some advice such as 'Try to make yourself unforgettable for them' or 'Make your interactions with them seem to like it could be lost easily and I wish you good luck with your love life. "The author who wrote this seems to have experience in the field of love" mumbled Liao Ping. Liao Ping headed into the sect through the entrance then went into his hut to prepare some things.

When Gao Shi, Ma Shu, and Master Hu Tu woke up from their reverie, Liao Ping was long gone. "Oh no! we forgot the time and let our imaginations run wild, he might've already visited his lover" "We can just try again tomorrow" "Let's head back to the sect" then they left heading towards the sect. By the time they had arrived back at their cultivation huts, Liao Ping was already eating dinner. "Oh, junior sisters, teacher, when did you guys come back?" "We had just gotten back" after hearing his teacher's response, he continued finishing up his meal then went and brushed his teeth with a toothbrush made from wood and boar hair. They watched him wash his mouth then head back to his hut for sleep.

They didn't worry about it too much and just headed into their huts. The next day, Liao Ping headed out to the restaurant in Fallen star town. He unlocked the door and started prepping for the day i.e cleaning the chairs, tables, floors, buying ingredients, washing dishes, sharpening/cleaning the tools. After doing the prep work he made some breakfast for himself. By the time he had finished enjoying his breakfast, Ms.Chang had already arrived and had started cooking some of the main dishes while Liao Ping went and flipped the sign that said 'closed' to 'open'. Then he waited for customers to come in and after a while, the restaurant was buzzing with activity and he started working.

Gao Shi, Ma Shu, and Master Hu Tu had observed Liao Ping cleaning things, buying things, and working from the late morning to the late afternoon. When they saw him leaving after a day of hard work, 'He's finally leaving, so he should be going to his lover now!' 'Where is he gonna go now after working in that restaurant?' 'There's no way that my eldest disciple has a secret relationship with someone, or is it that he might be hiding something' then they started following him as he passed by some streets and headed out of town towards the sect. His master was relieved that his thoughts weren't true, while his junior disciples were disappointed but suddenly they saw him pull out an item from his storage treasure but they couldn't see what it was. Liao Ping pulled out a draft of what he would do when he got back and wrote some things that he had already done onto it then put it away.

They got curious about the item he had put away and Ma Shu's curiosity got the better of her so she went over to her senior brother, "Senior brother, what was that item you took out?" "Oh hello there junior sister, that item contained a list of my daily activities and I had added some things onto it" "What did you add onto it?" "I added sewing, cultivating the plants, feed the animals, groom the animals, and cultivate myself" " That's a lot of things to do" "It is, so I might have to do it tomorrow" "Junior sister Ma, did you go out with junior sister Gao and master for some practical experience?" "uh um, yes" "That's great, he finally took my advice about the practical experience" "What advice?" "Didn't he tell you about having delicacies and fun before starting your cultivation journey" "no, he just said that we had to watch senior brother for the day" " Why did he ask you guys to do that?" "I-I-I don't know" mumbled Ma Shu weakly. Liao Ping decides to have a chat with his master after he arrived back at Bronze Dragon Peak.

He went straight towards Bronze Dragon Peak while Ma Shu hurried back to inform Gao Shi and Master Hu Tu about their conversation. "Senior sister Gao Shi, Master Hu Tu, he told me that he was going to find you since you asked us to watch him" "why?" "I kinda revealed that we were sent to watch over him on your behalf also he is going to talk to you about this as well" "Sigh, why did you put the blame on me?" "You're the teacher of all three of us and I was too embarrassed to say it was mine and Gao Shi's idea" "Master, you should hurry back before he goes to find you, or else he might develop ideas of being watched" "I'll go back right now" he then runs toward the Bronze Dragon Peak after entering the sect. Ma Shu and Gao Shi follow right after him.

Liao Ping goes to do his daily activities first then he cultivates his body by absorbing spiritual qi for a few minutes then goes towards his master's hut. "Master, I'm coming in!" "Master, why did you ask my junior sisters to watch me?" "I did it because I needed to prepare different things for your juniors to learn and had noticed that you were going out a lot" "But shouldn't they be watching over me, they should be cultivating" "I didn't think too much about it since I thought they might want to know their senior brother more" "You can bring them with you tomorrow" then he closes his eyes and goes back to cultivating.
