2 Ch.2 Training

~Umiko's POV~

It's been a week since I came to this world and I used the last week to get used to my new body and powers. Now I have pretty good control over my body, I can turn parts of my body into water on command and can become water fully as well. I also discovered that seawater has no effect on me so seastone should also have no effect on me. With two of the three weaknesses to devil fruit users ineffective on me I focus on the third one, Haki. The only way to counter haki is by using haki yourselves so I'll have to train myself.

*Time Skip - One Month*

It's been a month since I started training myself and I've made some progress, though it's not much it's progress nonetheless.

Tying coconuts on trees with ropes I made using some vines I train myself in observational haki and lately I've been starting to sense when one's about to hit me. Armament is harder as it's described as an invisible force inside us I've started meditating to see if I can sense it and about a week ago I finally sensed it and finally achieved the invisible armament. I used Conqueror's haki a couple of times by instinct, kind of like how Luffy used it in Kuja island and Marineford, while exploring the island.

*Time Skip - Two Years *

Finally after two years of training I've obtained a satisfactory level of mastery of haki. I can easily dodge blows from the bigger animals on the island who I used as sparring partners, and I can easily hit arrows and throw spears with great accuracy that I'm confident enough to challenge Usopp to a duel. I can also harden my armament haki on command to a satisfying amount. Though I'm nowhere near to Luffy's level after the time skip I'm not bothered as this was the result of me training alone while Luffy had one of the strongest pirates in history to train him.

After training my body for a year I also started training in Rokushiki and I'm proficient in Shigan, Geppo, Ryankaku and Soru. In the future I want to complete the Rokushiki and study it's strongest attack, the Rokugan.

I've also trained my devil fruit powers and came up with some attacks like the water gun, Water jet, flood, water blade etc. One of my favourite ways to use my powers was the Water lazer. I could cut boulders with this attack and It was very useful for precision cutting.

As my time training had come to an end I now wanted to travel and collect some information on the world and some other things that I had on my mind like the criminal association Baroque Works. This was mainly because I wanted to meet the person who I had quite a crush on, Nico Robin. I wanted to help Robin in any way I could and join the Straw hats with her. She had suffered enough. I wondered how beautiful and different she would be compared to the anime. Just thinking about her made me blush and some images of hentai I had seen in my last life came to my mind and i felt myself getting wet. Shaking my head to get rid of my perverted thought I made my way to my treehouse I made a year ago.

*Time Skip - One Week*

I sigh in satisfaction as I look at the small boat I made. I used the wood from the healthiest and strongest tree in the island and. It had a streamlined shape with a single sail which was mainly for appearances as I planned to use my powers to move the boat. It had a small cabin which was my bedroom, kitchen and storage combined. Though It wasn't much I was proud of it and I named it Ren (Translation: Waterlily).

' It's finally time.' I thought to myself and smiled as I set sail gazing at the horizon as the sun started rising.
