Chapter Eight

The meeting ended with the executive's faces beaming with a visible smile. Thanks to Yue Yue, they had escaped from the chairman's wrath not only that, they didn't have to sell their expensive property. But not everyone was happy about the outcome of the meeting. Manager Luo was the worst hit, he was asked to pay back a huge sum of money not only that, his paycheck was going to be reduced for four years. That was just too much, but he had nothing to do it was the decision the chairman made and the board members supported. He couldn't help but grit his teeth in anger.

When Yue Yue got to her office, she met ZhenZhen and Yinchuan already seated waiting for her. As soon as she stepped into the office, she was attacked with different question by the two. She was really having a headache by all the questions. She frowned and walked pass the two to her seat. When she eventually sat down, she grinned at the two.

'' We won'', she announced.

The two were happy and it was visible on their faces. They couldn't hide their joy.

'' Well done Director Chen'', ZhenZhen complimented.

Yinchuan gave her a thumps up.

'' Thanks to you two . I couldn't have done it without your help. You two were really useful as usual and am happy for that. So this night am treating you to dinner once again its my treat and I will choose the location''.

'' Awesome, that's decided then, I will get to save some cash'', Yinchuan said with humor.

'' Yeah yeah whatever'', ZhenZhen replied sarcastically.

'' ZhenZhen I want you to set a meeting with your brother, I want to thank him personally. He was part of the success plan and am grateful''.

'' Alright I will do just that''.

They went ahead to discuss about the days activities that Yue Yue was to engage in.

That night, the three dinned in one of Chen's expensive restaurant and Yinchuan and ZhenZhen were as usual battering like monkeys. Yue Yue was happy to spend time with them. When she got home later that night, she was really tired so she slept off once she hit the bed.

It has been few months after Shoacheng turned seventeen, and things were moving on well. It was just a matter of a year before Yue Yue finally hands over. She was building up her own empire. She was investing her money in a fashion company and a technology company. She wants to depend on herself when she fully turns twenty. One of her goals was to move out of her parents house. She doesn't want to be reminded of her lack of familial love. Right now, she was in a restaurant with Han Wei Wei. A Chinese girl she met at the state during college. Wei Wei had recently moved down to China with her fiancé, they were to get married in few months time. Both Wei Wei and her fiancé were from a very poor family. They had to work to support their family. The two met each other in school and had been dating since then. Yue Yue had bumped into Han Wei Wei at a restaurant where she worked as a waiter. It took her time to recall where she had met the girl. Yue Yue had known of Han Wei Wei's passion for designing, back then in school she had won the award of the best designing student. But due to her background, she had no body to support her thus she had to forget about her passion.

Yue Yue was gathering talents and people she could trust for the two companies she was planning to build. The companies where just minor companies but she wanted to give a go. With the help of ZhenZhen and Yinchuan, she knew that she could make it happen.

Soon they food they ordered for arrived. Yue Yue picked up her chopsticks and started eating. Han Wei Wei after seeing this joined her too. She had met Yue Yue few times in school. Even though she admired Yue Yue, she didn't dare approach her. They were classes apart. When Yue Yue had asked her out for lunch, she had been surprised but she was curious to know why such a request was made so she agreed. The two ate in silence. After the dishes on their table was cleared and replaced with a drink, Yue Yue made her intention known.

'' You must be wandering why I called'', Yue Yue asked as she took a sip of her mineral water. Wei Wei was nervous to reply. Even though she knew that she was older than Yue Yue, the aura the younger girl emits was enough to make one nervous, compounded with the fact that the younger girl was taller, influential and more beautiful than her, why wouldn't she be nervous.

When she saw how she was been looked at, she was forced to reply. So she nodded her head instead.

Yue Yue knew the older girl was nervous so she tried to retract back her aura.

'' I have a plan, that I want to involve you in'', Yue Yue said looking at Wei Wei for a reaction. When she noticed her tense up stance she continued.

'' Am building a company, its not something much. It won't fetch you billions in a year, but it might in years to come. I remember that you love designing. I would be honoured if you would love to work in my company as the chief designer, about your paycheck, it would be discussed with my manager. What do you say''.

At the mention of designing, Wei Wei's face was a washed with happiness. She had always wanted opportunity to display her skills but never got the chance due to her background, but now she was being offered a chance by someone from a reputable family. Who in China didn't know of Chen family, even though they weren't the richest or most influential, they were well known.

Wei Wei was really grateful for the offer and made up her mind that not only would she but her best, but that no matter what she would remain grateful to Yue Yue. She knew their were other designers far better than her, but
