37 Chapter 37 - Where is the Boat?

Hachin sadly sulked, watching the sun rise on the horizon. 'I want to go home...' his eye started to tear up.

But suddenly his vision was filled with a baggy white pant. "Breakfast is ready,"

"Don't want." he hugged his knees close and borrowed his head in-between.

"It's not good to skip breakfast,"

"I don't want to eat," he mumbled softly.

He felt the space besides him fill up and cold skin rubbed against his. "It's better not to show your anger on food."

"What if you had added something?" Hachin peaked out in the small gap.

Hua Ro laughed out loud and gently caressed his head. "I don't like to drug them. For your information, I already have you here with no way out. Since I already have you close, I don't wish for anything else."

Hachin glanced up at him with his lips quivering gently. "You are a meanie,"

"I have been told so." Hua Ro got up and held out his hand. "Come on, you can hate on me after eating a healthy breakfast,"

Hachin ruefully took his hand and followed him to the cave.

The annoying man handed him a steaming hot bowl of porridge.

Chew and swallow. Chew and swallow. Hachin mechanically swallowed the bland tasting porridge, glaring at the man in front of him.

"You really intent to keep me here? You do know that I have every string person searching for me, right? He is a core building stage cultivator and when he finds me, you will might be in danger."

Hua Ro glanced up with a sideway smirk and shrugged. 'I have advanced that stage at my young age though,' he thought to himself.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

He shrugged once more, calmly eating his breakfast.

"A shrug is not an answer." Hachin bit into the wooden spoon whist glaring at him intently.

"What do you want me to say?"

"What else. That you will let me go!"

Hua Ro casually shook his head. "Nope." he scooped out the last spoon of rice and ate it with relish.

"You..... bloody cheat!!!!" Hachin raged, but the man was always calm. He watched him feed his chipmunk with a serene expression, and his anger burst open. "Okay. You know what, since you are not willing to let me go, I am going to find my way out on my own."

Hua Ro raised his brows. "Be my guest,"

"hump!," Hachin stood up and stormed out but a hand suddenly grabbed him from behind. "What are you doing!!"

"Finish your food," the roc calmly whispered.

"I don't wish to,"

"Well, you have to. On this island finding food is a rarity, especially grains like this are very rare. So don't waste it,"

Hachin followed his method and shrugged as an answer.

"Wasting food is not good."

He shrugged once more with a mocking smile.

Hua Ro gently tugged him to the huge boulder and made him sit on the makeshift chair. "Eat and then leave. Or should I tie you up?"

"You dare to!" Hachin challenged him with a glare, but the man's unwavering eyes sacred him a bit.

"Yeah, I dare to. So eat."

Hachin grumblingly gulped down the soupy porridge and ran out.

Hua Ro just sighed, watching his retreating figure.

"Master, he doesn't seem to like you much." The chipmunk silently whispered from the side.

"He is resisting what his heart is feeling. Soon he will understand."

He cleaned up after him and placed the washed dishes neatly in the corner of the cave.

His busy hands paused for a second.

"We are connected after all."

Hachin ran and ran until he was near the shore. His legs urged him to just jump into the ocean and swim away, but the invisible shield stopped him from doing so.

He leaned against it and closed his eyes tightly. "I have to think. How was I brought here?"

"I was obviously on that lush island and I collapsed in pain and suddenly I woke up here in this barren land.... he probably down not look like he can swim that well. Then most likely there must be a boat around here."

He leaned back with renewed hope. "He must have hid it carefully somewhere,"

With renewed passion, Hachin ran all around the island searching for this fabled boat.

After hours of searching, he still did not find it. His stomach started to hurt a bit. He sat down next to a charred coconut tree and panted softly.

"Where the hell did he hide it!!!"

Searching for so long did not help one bit. In the end, he was just left with no hope.

"I can just ask him?...."

As far as he knew, the man though cold never lied to him. Well, except the shield part of course.....

"Should I ask him?"

"I should, but I need another layer of assurance," he ran about trying to find something sharp. But sadly, there was nothing. Only molten lava and black sand.

He did manage to find a sharp stone that looked pretty much like a dagger.

"This will do,"

He sat down and started sharpening it by rubbing it vigorously against a boulder.

By the time the rock was sharp, the sun was at its highest.

Hachin wiped the sweat away and smirked at the sharp dagger like stone he had polished. "Yeah, wait for me, you stupid man. I will show you what I'm capable of."
