I Love You

The little boy's words stopped Shen Yi from his tracks. He smiled back at Shen Zhichen.

"Oh, well… that's…" He was lost for words. How should he answer the child? Shen Yi knew that the twins already had an emotional attachment to Lu Xinyi by now.

"Let me discuss it with your Aunty Xinxin first. We aren't planning to have a child, but I don't see why we cannot adopt you and Yuyan," he replied.

There might be issues on adopting the twins since they still had a father living somewhere. An irresponsible father which would make it easier for Shen Yi and Lu Xinyi to adopt the twins and add them on their family registry.

Shen Zhichen's face lit up. He dearly hoped and prayed in his heart that Aunty Xinxin would agree.

"Really? Then can we call you Daddy?"

Shen Yi nodded and then continued walking at a slow pace so Shen Zhichen could keep up with him.

"Daddy sounds good, but I will have to talk with your Aunty, okay?"
