kiss/"This is Edward Rogers' promise to himself"

Take your time Mr. Saxena, there is no hurry, I want a good land." Edward was speaking when something came to his mind and he said without any emotion, "I want property in all the snow-fall and hilly areas like Mussoorie, Ooty, Shimla, Rohtang, Manali, you can see it and tell me whatever bill you have."

As soon as Edward was about to leave from there, Mr. Saxena said, "Wait Mr. Edward, I have a lot of property to sell at that place, I will just talk to the owner and then talk to you."

Edward said to him without any emotion, "Talk now."

Mr. Saxena shook his head and started talking to his client and after hanging up the call said to Edward, "It's done Mr. Edward, it is a very good property, it is a very big land, you can build a very big resort there, if you want, we can go to see the land in a few days."

Edward looked at Atul and said, "Atul, get the jet ready, we will leave this evening." Hearing this, all the people sitting there were surprised because Edward never used to go anywhere in such a hurry and that too in business, he never used to rush in business, but here he was looking very fast. Edward looked at everyone and everyone was looking at him. Edward hit his hand on the desk and said, "do as I said, I have not asked you to look at me".

Everyone quickly bowed their head and left for their work. Mr. Saxena removed the saliva from his throat and said, "Can I ask you something?"

no questiona Mr. Saxena just do as I said". Saying this, Edward left from there.

CEO's cabin

As soon as Edward opens the door of the cabin and goes inside, he sees that a handsome boy was already sitting there and Edward was reading some file. As soon as the door opens, the boy looks towards the door. Edward looks at the boy without any emotion and says "Loy, what are you doing here? Is there no work in your office or have you ruined your company?"

Loy said angrily, "Don't say such negative things. Understand, if my company sinks, I will come to your office and work with you as the second CEO. I am not going to take the job of a peon."

Edward ignored all his nonsense and said "What are you doing here?" Loy looked at him and said with anger "What friend Edward, we both are friends, why are you talking to me like this, do you know how much you have changed in the last 5 years, how much we used to flirt earlier, we live like before, yes I agree, you used to talk less earlier but you were not so boring and rude, let's go to the club tonight, we will have fun like before".

Edward looked at the pencil in his hand without any emotion and said "Some people change in just a few days, not just years, I still took years and this is Edward Rogers, I was like this earlier too, I didn't like to flirt much anyway, she was a little hearted that's why".

He became quiet while speaking, Loy said with a crooked smile "You still don't want to forget her, whenever I see you, you just keep taking her name, you keep missing her, but you don't show us that you ever loved Jennifer, you still kiss her, you keep pretending unnecessarily that you don't like her, you are angry with her".

Edward said without any emotion "Yes I am angry, I am very angry with her and when I get her I will vent out all my anger, only then my heart will get peace, I don't love her, the one I loved is with me today and I don't want anything else."

Loy looked at his face carefully and said "Well I don't see that you are happy with the one you loved, I was sure even then that you don't love Angelica and you don't love her even today."

Loy shouted and said "If you are not punishing him even after he rejected you, then why are you looking for him to punish Jennifer after she left from here".

Edward does not answer him and directly calls Shekhar. Within a few moments Shekhar arrives there. Edward without looking at Loy said to Shekhar "Throw him out of this office".

Shekhar looks at Edward and then looks at Loy because he knew that Loy is a very good friend of Edward and even a very good and famous businessman, he cannot throw out the literary Loy, nor would Shekhar have done this if it was someone else.

Loy stared at Edward and said "There is no need for this kindness, I can go myself". Saying this, he leaves from there after staring at Shekhar.

After some time

A girl who was wearing a white jeans and pink colour shirt and a cute jacket over it, walks into Edward's cabin with style. She looks around but does not see Edward anywhere. She shakes her head and sits on the chair in front of Edward and starts waiting for him.

Edward had gone for a round of his office. He always used to do this monthly to check how his employees were working and if there was any problem. When he comes back, his eyes get narrowed after seeing that girl. When that girl sees Edward, she goes to him with a big smile and hugs him. Edward also hugs her and without any emotion says "What are you doing here at this time Angelica?"

Angelica moves away from him and says "Don't you like that I have come here?"

Edward separated from her and sitting on his chair said "No, it is not like that, it is not like that, it is good or bad, but you know it is my working time and I don't like any other conversation or work during working time".

Angelica went and sat properly on Edward's lap and putting her arms around his neck said "When did I say that you should talk about something else, do something else, do your work, I am not refusing".

Edward stared at her and said "So what is this".

Angelica took Edward's face in her hands and said "Are you still angry with me for that night when I rejected you".

Edward shook his head and said "No, I am not angry about anything, I am just a little worried about some problems related to my business, nothing else".

Angelica put her head on his chest and said "What happened, did you find Sadhvi". Edward does not reply to her words. Angelica kisses Edward on the cheek and says "Tell me Edward where is Jennifer".

Edward looks at her. Edward and Angelica's faces were very close. Edward looked at her lips without any expression and said "I haven't found her yet. I don't know where she is".

Angelica caressed Edward's lips with her thumb and said "Don't be angry. I will find her".

Edward does not reply to her words. Angelica moves forward and places her lips on Edward's lips and starts kissing him. Edward also takes Angelica in his arms and starts kissing her lips with passion.

After some time he moves away from her. Angelica puts her head on Edward's chest. Edward caresses Angelica's forehead with his hand and says "Nothing happened between us after that night and we talk about her so normally, I mean don't you find that a bit awkward".

Angelica said normally "No, that happens in front of everyone, we love each other, whether we don't or not, all that stuff keeps happening, there is nothing to be so awkward in it, you also don't get so awkward, behave normally."

Edward keeps looking at Angelica's face for a few moments as if he is trying to know something, but perhaps he was not getting answers to his questions. The day passes like this.

It was around 10 o'clock at night. Edward was standing on the terrace of his office. A big jet was standing on the helipad in front. Edward was looking at the jet without any expression. There was a lot of wind blowing there. Edward had put dark glasses on his blue eyes. His light silky and curly hair was flying due to the wind which was coming on his forehead and eyes.

After looking at everything for some time, Edward boards the jet. Along with him were Atul Shekhar and Mr. Saxena, two lawyers and some Gods who were to come in other choppers. The jet takes off from there. Those people were going to Mussoorie first."

Edward was searching for some file on his laptop which was related to business. Edward clicks on a file which was not named. As soon as he opens the file, his eyes get cold. In that file, there were old photos of Edward, Jennifer, Loy, Angelica and those four which were very beautiful.

Edward and Jennifer are together in every photo. After looking at those photos without any emotion for some time, Edward exits and selects that file and starts deleting it but he was not getting the courage to delete it. He goes to the delete option twice and then cancels it. Similarly, he cancels the idea of deleting for the third time and keeps his laptop aside and closes his eyes.

Even when he closes his eyes, Jennifer is still there. Edward was looking at me and said while clenching his fists, "You are so irritating. You used to irritate me when we were together and now that you have gone, you are still irritating me. I am coming and my aim is not just to build a resort. I will find you and bring you back with me. This is Edward Rogers' promise to himself."
