Marcus strip himself and began to apply the paste as he did his skin was absorbing it causing his entire body to spasm in pain. Marcus felt someone was taking his muscles and wringing them like you would a wet rag to dry it, his bones felt like they were being hit with hammers over and over again. He started to curse the system and it stupid update for saying it will only hurt a little.

Marcus jumped in the 'pool' (medicine bath) with the jar in his hands. He quickly open the jar drinking all of its contents and submerge himself while running the Sacrem Purifying Blood Art as Aeris start the array.

The pain intensified instead of going away when he was inside the pool he body felt like it was being ripped apart limb from limb and his bones being destroyed. The drink from the jar made his inside feel like they were burning with a firestorm running them it causing him to cry, but could not tell as the tears faded into the pool.

Running the Blood Art (short for Sacrem Purified Blood Art) he started to feel a little better running it. He heard the system notifications, but ignored it as he was focusing his mind to awaken his bloodline and have the bloodline eat his father's DNA and genes. After doing this Marcus kept cultivating the blood art until he fainted due to the pain after 3 hours.

After 4 1/2 hours of torture Marcus woke up when he felt no more pain. He open the eyes to see the pool was gone along with the array. He stood up and stretch himself as he heard his bones popped as a massive headache came with information and memories from his previous lives and other memories from what appear to be dragons.

After an hour did Marcus managed to sort out all of his memories. Once he calmly skim through and analyzed all of the new memories and information did he open the system menu seeing.

Marcus first asked about the new exp section, in which the system replied that it is for all the exp will be stored from now on as he will have to manually or order the system to add exp to his cultivation base, methods, skills, or etc.

He then asked what was the bookmark tab for. The system answered that he is the first Helix Chaos God Dragon to exist making it that he does not have any bloodline techniques, skills, and etc and that he has to create one's.

When he managed to create anything related to this bloodline the system will automatically load it into the bloodmark category and if he does not want that technique to be passed on he could go there and delete it.

It was a method to utilize his soul and help control and fight with it since no matter how he tried he could not use soul devour during his fights with the wild beast. Seeing this he clicked on it as a stream of information appeared in his head.
