Chapter 2

Volundr is in the Agares stadium, watching a rating

game. Not just any game, Rudiger Rosenkreutz' rating game. Rudiger's team uses the terrain of the field effectively to restrict the opponents. His pieces toy with the opponent's pieces using the field.

Rudiger is a genius and a master tactician. After being reincarnated as a Bishop , that liberated him in some way, may be magic is more easier to use than when he was as a human. He became much more powerful , the rank 7 in rating game is the proof of it.

His peerage also has powerful individuals. But his most important weapon for his success is his brain. He is much weaker than other rankers, but he managed to get rank 7 in rating game is a very impressive feat. He even founded a magician organizition.

After the game is over, Volundr proceeds to find Rudiger . Rudiger is resting in the locker room of his team in the stadium. Some of his peerage is absent (being sent to infirmary after retiring in the game).

Volundr greets him, " Hello, Mr. Rudiger, I am Volundr Agares. It's nice to meet you."

Rudiger replies, " Hello, nice to meet you ,too. Do you have business with me? "

"I would like to invite you somewhere to discuss something that 's important, Mr Rudiger."

"Could you be more specific? Could you tell about that here, Mr Agares."

"It is about your son, Mr Rudiger. I may have a way to solve it. I think we should go somewhere private to discuss our terms."

Rudiger looks and says to his Queen and his team, " I will leave the rest to you. Also you guys should rest and do whatever you want to, after all we win this time."

Volundr and Rudiger teleport to Volundr's mansion. They sit down face to face across the table in the living room. There are no other people except them in the living room.

Rudiger initiates talking, "You said you may have a way to help my son. How you gonna do that?"

Volundr chuckled, " Yes, I have a way to help your son. Do you know what your son problem is?"

"My son was born with sacred gear and it is killing him. Do you really have a way to cure my son?"

"If sacred gear is killing him,why don't we take it out?"

"If a sacred gear is taken out from a host, usually the host will die or have severe effects on him. That is a well known fact."

"I can take out the sacred gear inside your son without leaving any harmful effects on him."

"Do you really think I would believe this? I am not that stupid."

" I believe you had tried many methods on him but not very effective right. I definitely can do it and I am your only hope to cure your son. I just don't know whether you are ready to give the price I want. The price gonna be big."

"I will give any price. Just say it."

" I will take out sacred gear inside your child without side effects on him. When the ceremony is taking place, only me and your son will be present. You are not allowed to watch or talk to anyone about this. I will not also put any harmful things or actions to your son during that time. In exchange, you will have to pay me the following prices. You will teach me everything you know about rating game. You will help me find my future peerage members and watch out for my safety as top priotity during these activities. You will give me every necessory help when I want to take a sacred gear of my choice. You will be my political ally from now on. "

" I can accept it. When will we start this?"

"Give me two weeks. I have to prepare for that. Here the contracts, signs if you agree."

Rudiger signs the contracts without hesitation .

" I will be looking forward our future. Please, I will be on your care." said Volundr while shaking hands with Rudiger.

"Me too. I will be leaving. See you in two weeks."

Rudiger teleports back to his place.

2 weeks later,

Volundr had prepared ceremony in his basement and is waiting for Rudiger and his son in the living room.

A magic circle appear in the living room , it is Rudiger and his wife who is carrying their son.

Volundr leads into the basement where preparations are made for ceremony. A table was placed in the middle of a big hall. A magic circle was drawn around the table using unknown substance.

"Put the kid on that table and you can wait out side." said Volundr seriously.

The wife put the kid on the table and both of them left.

Outside the basement , Rudiger and his wife are waiting anxiously.

The wife asks while her voice is a little shaky,

" Do you think he can safely remove it?"

" I am sure, he is our only hope. You knew that we had already tried many methods. "

"What if he can't? Our son gonna die."

" He will die if we don't do something. Let's hope for the best."

"What is your opinion on him? What do we have to repay in return? You didn't told me yet. I don't believe he will do it for free."

"Of course, we have to pay some price. Nothing that serious, I can handle it. About him, he is not like from those rumour. He is said to have low talent and no clan trait. He is regarded as trash by other nobles . They are wrong . I felt that he is in mid-end highclass battle power during our first meeting. You know.... talent is not everything. I guess he is already training from young age. Most of nobles, they don't train. They are living on their talent. After Volundr grown up, the rating game will be interesting. I can't wait to see those noble faces."

"He is going to compete in rating game?" the wife exclaims.

"Yeah, he is. He is calm and cunning like a fox. He is also a master negotiator. He is not a simple guy."

Mean while in the basement,

Volundr starts ceremony, things are going smoothly. Magic circle made for ceremony starts to shine and cover the kids. Sacred manifests slowly and finally can see the whole sacred gear. Then the process of removing starts, the magic circle shine brightly than before and it covers the whole sacred gear. The sacred gear was safely removed and the boy was fine. He calls the parents over and start talking.

"Your son is fine. Do you have phenex tear? Go used on him. It will heal the damage caused by sacred gear. He is a little weak but it will be fine.

My side is done and Only yours are left."

Rudiger's wife took his son and left.

"There are two nekomata sisters called Kuroka and Shirone in the Naberious clan. I want them. You can make some deal with them. Could you do that? "

"Give me. week. I will deal with it."

1 week later, the two nekomata arrive to Volundr's mansion.

Kuroka is 8 years old and Shirone is 5 years old.

"Kuroka, I want you as my bishop in my peerage. I will cover everything, so you don't have to worry about anything. What I want is your loyalty to me."

Kuroka, " What about my sister? "

" You don't have to worry about it, your sister will be my sister. I will find a good king for her to serve."

Kuroka said anxiously, "Don't touch my sister, only me is enough, what if they mistreat her."

"You can't protect her all the time. She will have her own journey in her life. Also about mistreatment, it can be written in peerage contract. Here is your contract, take a look. If you agree, sign it, we are good to go."

After looking every single detail in contract, Kuroka sign it.

Volundr added, " When you reaches 10, I will recruit you as my bishop. I will arrange everything for you. You can relax in these 2 years. Your work load is light. "

Two week later, I introduce Kuroka and Shirone to Seekvaira and her friends.

In the garden in front of mansion, there are three girls playing. My sister see me and the two sisters, she ran toward us and he two friends follow along.

"Onii chan, where have you been? I can't find you to introduce my friends. These are my friends Rias and Sona."

("my sister is cheerful,but as she grow up,her face is becoming serious in the cannon,well she is heir of Agares clan")

Volundr, " Hello, girls. This is Kuroka and this is Shirone. "

Rias, "Wow, so cute" , exclaims while looking at the two nekomata.

Seekvaira, "Agree"

After a while, Shirone is quite fond of Rias, following her around, she do that only to Kuroka before.

"See, Shirone quite attaches to Rias."

Kuroka, " You mean the king you are talking about is Rias, why not your sister."

" Destiny, and Gremory are know for their effectionate, so don't worry they mistreat your sister. Lets go today is the day you start training. You will learn Youjutsu, Senjutsu, magic and hand to hand combat. The teachers are my teachers in the past, they are from my father peerage. "

Rias also likes Shirone , petting a cat makes you feel relax. Cuteness of Shirone is also a factor. Well most cats are cute though.
