Aunt Miriam came close and gave me a hug. "Lily dear, you are a pretty girl and I'm sure u don't wanna end up like your mother". I shakes my head as in "no".

"Then mind your closeness with the opposite sex, no matter who it is, the places you stay or go to with them and the kind of conversations you make with them." "And you😡" she was referring to Stanley this time, "do not let the devil use you, now go back to your room."

"Thanks Mom, bye Lily"

"Bye" I replied as he left for his room

"I will be leaving tomorrow"

"To where? Is your mom sending you on another vacation?"

"No, she says I will be leaving with my new parents."

"New parents?🙄 I don't understand"

"She's selling me off😣"

"Oh my, you accepted to leave?"

"I didn't accept, but I will be giving her plan a try, I hope she soon gets to regret it and come asking for me to come back"

"😐 Good to hear that from you, maybe your new parents, might be better, you need to be happy"

She hugged me again and we bade goodbye.

I woke up feeling weird the next morning, I couldn't get up easily from the bed like I used to, my waist ached, felt like I was being operated on my lower abdomen, I managed to get up from the bed only tto discover that my bread spread had been stained with blood. "Gosh! 😬😰😰" I got scared at first, what came to my mind as it's cause was the previous day's encounter at Stanley's place. Then I remembered Aunt Miriam had taught me on mensration and what to do when it starts. She had also bought me sanitary. I walked to my bathroom, cleaned myself with a warm bath, washed my wears and bedspread. Then I went to my mom's room, as usual the door was shut, I knocked and got no response.

" Good morning Mom, it's Lily, I wanted to tell you, I've started menstruating" I waited for some seconds to get a reply.

"Get your things ready, you will be leaving soon" She answered from inside.

What a mom😢.
