In the most desolate part of the world I found you

There was once a theory that humans were born with four arms, four legs, and two heads. They were bound together but a higher being had split them in half thus creating what we now call soulmates. Yet what was strange about these soulmates were the fact that they weren't all romantically involved, some of them were best friends, cousins, and even siblings.

Ashura had a vague memory of her soulmate, beautiful long hair, bright brown eyes, she wanted to find this soulmate. Because every waking moment from the age of 16 Ashura had an urge to draw this beautiful human.

Eloise had never wanted to meet his soulmate. What if Eloise disappointed them! Why would a stranger feel so strongly for him! All types of doubts clouded Eloise. But what he could confirm was that his soulmate was beautiful, long dark hair, eyes covered in thick lashes, he wanted to touch his soulmate prove to his heart that they were real.

Why had the world forsaken us?

Why must we suffer?

Ashura born during the Great War was the strongest fighter to bring down the opposers. Only knowing war and death, Ashura had never lived her life.

Eloise born during a crisis where women were favored, had to live his life as a woman. Having to hide his identity and never exploring his own, Eloise had wanted to live as whoever he wished.

The drastic difference between both soulmates was the fact that they were born in difficult centuries. The pair of soulmates were never to be fated to meet each other, only longing for their heart to be full.

Why have I never meet you?

I want to hold your hand

In the distant future two young children ran around.

"Ashura wait for me!"

"I can't keep waiting for you Eloise, hurry!"

The two children had been blessed in this century. Yet the child born of war would never be able to escape chaos, cursed to fight in every timeline, Ashura would leave.

The child born of crisis would fall in despair continuously remembering how his beloved had died, Eloise would never find who he is.
