Not juicy like a cheeseburger

"I'll go," I volunteer, feeling as though someone else is controlling me, like someone just wacked the words out of me. "but I might need a second to think."

"Ok," Laureen assures comfort. "take your time."

Now that I've gotten myself into this pickle, I got to get myself out. I need to think. I might not add that much deep and personal stuff like Alexis, but I might add a sport like Mark did. I won't mention family, but maybe past "friends" and where I've lived before.

"Ok," I ready myself, just making sure to breathe. "I've played tennis before, I've dyed my hair before to match a friend, and I moved a total of four times in my life."

"I don't think you did tennis." Alex doubts.

"I would also think that." Mark agrees.

"Honestly," Alexis goes on to say. "couldn't you pick something more interesting? Whatever, it doesn't matter. I don't think you dyed your hair, let alone for a friend."

"I would say..." Laureen goes on for a bit, pondering her answer. "...I'd have to go with tennis too."

"Wow," Alexis jokes in a dramatic way. "leaving me all alone with my guess. If I'm right then one of you owes me a cheeseburger."

"Actually," I say revealing the answer. "I never did tennis. I thought of it, but decided not to."

"Dammit," Alexis curses. "I wanted a cheeseburger."

"I got you one," Alex points out. "in your McDonald's."

Alexis realizes this and can't really come up with an excuse. "Shut up, I like cheeseburgers."

"Anyway," I say changing the subject. "Who wants to go next?"

"Alex," Laureen offers. "do you want to go now or be last?"

"Well," Alex thinks about it. "Grace just met me, so sure. I'll go now."

"Ok then, I'll go last."

"I'm planning on going to college, I've broken one of my anime figurines, and I once explained the entire plot of one of the longest animes in only seven minutes."

"Anime figurine," I guess a little more confidently. "you'd probably keep them really safe."

"I would say the plot one," Laureen goes on and says. "you'd want to explain every detail, and there would questions."

"I also think it's the plot," Alexis agrees, but also disagrees. "but you'd probably explain it in five."

"Wait," Mark goes on to ask, proving he wasn't paying attention. "you have anime figurines?"

Alex facepalms and goes on to reveal the lie. "The anime figurine is a lie, but I have them. I just never broke one."

"Come to think of it," Alexis realizes and teases. "he'd probably just call one of us and start crying cause he was emotionally attached like a little kid and a random stick or something."

"Hey, would not!" He defends. "Anyways, Laureen, it's your turn."

All of a sudden I get excited, yet worried. I get to learn more about Laureen! Yet, what if she's really a bad person that's done bad things? There's no way though, and I'd still want to be her friend. But what if she hates me? There's no way she'd reveal that to me though, right? Right?
