Back at Kurayami's house when he returned, his mother was waiting for him to return. The most surprising thing was that the sword he left behind was being used to cook dinner. He watched as she turned those vegetables into mince like it was nothing.
When Shuri noticed him return with Shin in hand she sighed.
"Kurayami, I asked Tobio to explain more in-depth what happened. Tobio tells me that you and Azrael removed his Sacred Gear. I am not the most informed person on Sacred Gears, but I know removing them means death. You could have killed him."
Kurayami shook his head.
"Under normal circumstances yes. I used my mana to stabilize his soul and mend any wounds caused by it while Azrael kept Death away from claiming him. Shin himself aided us by severing the connection in a way to not cause further damage to Tobio. Then Azrael turned him into a Fallen Angel so he could begin to heal."
Hearing his explanation she felt a little more relieved. However, now she had to ask about what Tobio explained.
"He also told me that his Sacred Gear was sealed away by his grandmother and weirdly enough he was hated by his Sacred Gear. Why?"
Kurayami pulled out a chair and sat down with Shin on his lap.
"It's understandable as I am the only one who can speak to animals. When I released Shin from the seal placed on him by his grandmother he was instantly angered by the sight of Tobio.
When Tobio was born, he was born with his Balance Breaker activated. Not wanting Tobio to be involved in the Supernatural, his grandmother used her magic to seal Shin away. However, that did not put Shin to sleep. For 15 years he was awake and hoping to be called upon and freed.
And when he was finally freed it was not because of Tobio, but because of me. And this you will just have to take my word for, but our very souls called out for each other. Something about Shin was what I needed and something about me was what he needed."
He ran a hand down Shin's side which made the black dog close his eyes. He then glanced over at Shuri and looked her in the eyes. His crimson eyes spoke a thousand words.
"I am sorry you had to suffer that."
Shin snorted and barked a few times. Shuri could not speak animal so she turned to Titus who was sitting next to her. He looked up to her and translated what was said. Hearing that made her feel a chill.
In essence, he said that now that he was free and away from Tobio there would be no bad blood. However, if Kurayami had not come along he would have self-detonated to kill Tobio and return to the Heaven System rather than be sealed away forever.
"My goodness. I understand."
Tobio started to feel bad once Shuri told him what Shin said. Hearing how much his grandmother had wronged Shin made him feel conflicted.
"I know this probably means nothing coming from me, but I am truly sorry you had to be subjected to such a thing."
Shin barked once before he walked back to Kurayami, the one who had called out to him. He jumped into his arms and closed his eyes at the happiness of being needed.
Seeing the sight made Tobio feel at least happy that Shin got his happy ending. But now he had questions.
"I get all that, but now I am not even human. What will happen to me?"
Kurayami had an explanation for that.
"We can easily seal away your powers and memories, so when we save your girlfriend you two can just go and marry somewhere if that is what she wants."
Tobio got bright red and shook his head.
"I said she is not my girlfriend."
Just then Kuroka perked her head out of the kitchen.
"Well, she never will be with that attitude, nya. She might just fall in love with my Kurayami, so man up."
Tobio got bright red, yet he found it logical. He had to man up to keep other men away from her. Kurayami raised his hands to calm him down.
"Relax for a minute, I don't want her. She is all yours, you are still family and family helps each other."
Tobio chuckled.
"I guess you are right."
Natsume who had been allowed to live at Shuri's house saw the gears turning in Tobios head. She had a knowing smile as she had always known Tobio liked Sae. Anyone who knew them could see it.
'Seems Kurayami is the confidence boost he needed.'
Now Kuroka looked at Shuri with a smile.
"Regardless, now that situation is settled."
Shuri started to look around her at the girls who were staying here at the house. Natsume and Lavinia were both beautiful and with powers of their own. In Natsume's case, a bird that Kurayami liked and Lavinia had her own Longinous.
"Ok, I got to ask. How many girls will you marry?"
That was a hard question to answer as at the moment it was only Kuroka, Raynare, and Esdeath. Then there were also the weird feelings he and Akeno felt for each other that they kept on the down low.
"3 for now."
Shuri covered her face.
"For now he said. It seems you are more Azazel's child than Baraqiel. I knew him becoming your friend would do this."
Kurayami was already feeling weird.
"When you say it like that I sound like a terrible guy."
Shuri shook her head.
"No, you're just a Fallen Angel. Your Father did say that in his younger days, he was just like Azazel."
Akeno did not know that.
"He was?"
Shuri nodded with an exasperated sigh.
"Oh yes. Millennia ago, he once bedded over 100 women at the same time. I wanted to hear more of his life from Heaven when he fell and his life after. Your father was a true casanova in his glory days."
Akeno could not see it as their Father was the picture-perfect husband. She looked at Kurayami who looked quite a bit like their Father. Regardless, Shuri began to yawn.
"I need to sleep, carrying the child of a Fallen Angel is hard work."
Now that he thought about it he was curious how that worked.
"Ok, genetically how does that work?"
Shuri had been checked out by Azazel before during her pregnancy with Kurayami and Akeno and he had explained it.
"In essence, my human body is having to work extra hard to gestate the fetus because Fallen Angel chromosomes are much more potent than my human genes. Though, I do have my magical background to thank for having a much easier time than I normally would."
Now that he thought about it he would outlive his Mother.
"Mom, how about I ask Azrael to turn you into a Fallen Angel? That way you can stay with Dad for as long as you both live."
"I will think about it."
Not turning white and grey would be useful and she did not want to leave her family alone. Regardless, she went to her room to sleep as she needed rest. Suzaku went back to cooking and when she finished everyone sat down to eat. Shuri was still asleep as her belly was getting bigger and she tired more.
At meal time, everyone sat down with Raynare having served Kurayami. The meal was a heavy beef stew. To enhance it to his taste, he added Carolina Reaper hot sauce.
Esdeath looked over and asked about it.
"I need to ask why you love that stuff."
"It loosens up my face and I quite enjoy the sensation. Anyone want any?"
Akeno shuddered.
"No thank you. We will die."
Kuroka could smell the spice and covered her nose.
"That is evil."
Raynare shook her head.
"I am not falling for that again. I remember what you did to us when we were kids."
He shrugged as that meant more for him. While they were eating the front door opened up and flew in a white and silver eagle. It landed on Kurayami's shoulder and soon Baraqiel entered. He looked pissed and his cloak was torn and red with blood.
Both his and not his at the same time. Kurayami looked at his Father.
"Dad, what happened? Very few beings can do this to you."
Baraqiel sat down at the table as he explained.
"We missed both targets. Himejima, Satanael, and hundreds of Utsusemi were there. While they fought us they took Shizune and Hyousuke. Clarise and Jack did their part, but they had more stuff hidden. While I was fighting Satanael I got ambushed."
Kurayami stood up and walked to his father. He moved his father's cloak to reveal several wounds that looked like claw marks.
"Lion claws? Few things can do this to you."
"There was a girl Utsusemi who had a Black Lion with her. It jumped out of my shadow as I fought the bastard. Before I could kill the thing it dispersed into shadows and got away."
Baraqiel pulled out some potion which he poured on his wounds causing them to hea. Lavinia heard that and thought it sounded familiar.
"That sounds like a project from The Wizard of Oz. Could it breathe flames and control the shadows?"
"Yes. Annoying pest."
Lavinia muttered under her breath.
"Cowardly Leo."
Raynare thought she heard wrong.
"Wait. Say that again. Cowardly Leo? From Wizard of Oz? Is that not a kid's tale?"
Lavinia frowned and shook her head.
"No. It is very real. My master was from there."
Kurayami shook his head.
"So now we got people from a storybook and the rest of this mess."
As he sat, Shin and Aurora kept nudging him for table scraps. Mythical beasts they were, but they acted like normal pets. Suzaku served Baraqiel a plate of food as she could tell he was annoyed.
"Here uncle. It is a shame they got away, but you could not have known you would have been ambushed by so many."
Baraqiel understood that.
"I get it, it does not mean I am not angry at the fact. I knew it was going to be an ambush, but it seems I have gotten rusty. Damn that Satanael."
As he started to eat, Akeno walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. A massive healing circle opened up under him and began to heal his wounds fully. Once they were closed he smiled.
"Thank you Akeno. We will need to find them again, but for now, let's just enjoy our meal."
The Divine Eagle on his shoulder returned to Baraqiel's side as his master. Once the meal was over, Kurayami took a shower, but when he came out of the bathroom he saw that Esdeath, Raynare, Kuroka, and Akeno were in his room.
"Akeno? You don't normally come in here."
He was currently shirtless, but he had already put on a pair of shorts. Raynare crossed her arms as she wrapped her shoulder around Akeno.
"Akeno here said that there is something she has been keeping from us and you. She wants to finally get an answer."
He knew what it was about and he too had been hiding it. He first sat down on the couch he kept in his room.
"I know what you mean Raynare. It is fair for you to understand the full story. When me and Akeno were born, we were bonded at birth. I mean literally, I can feel her emotions, and hear her thoughts if she wants to and the reverse is also true.
This connection makes us brutal combatants, but also started to affect us in a certain way."
Akeno nodded as she gave her side of the story.
"When we were kids it was not an issue, but now that we are maturing it has started to cause us to feel things for each other. Things siblings shouldn't feel and we have been avoiding the issue."
Kurayami agreed.
"It's true. I have been trying to ignore the issue hoping it would solve itself. But, that isn't going to happen."
Esdeath shrugged.
"I don't see the big deal. You two are almost adults as Fallen Angels mature rapidly. I mean, look at you Kurayami. You look like a man and you are 6'3 at 15. Akeno, you are 5'10 and your boobs are huge. You might as well be adults."
Akeno covered her chest with her hands as that was something she tried to hide with baggy clothes.
"Hey, did you have to bring them up?"
Esdeath nodded with a wronged look.
"Look at me. I still look my age and my boobs are just starting to fill out. Where is the justice of the world? Look at Raynare, she also is big."
Raynare pushed her chest forward with a smirk.
"Well you know, it comes with our species."
Kuroka giggled as she had something else to say.
"I also got some things to say that will make you realize it is not a big deal. First, answer this question. What makes incest bad?"
Kurayami answered this.
"The birth defects right?"
Kuroka had something to say.
"Exactly, but this is more common in mundane species. The stronger one becomes the more their genetics change as a result of their powers and affinities. I mean, Kurayami and you specialize in very different paths.
Even if you were born as twins by now your genetics will have drifted and changed quite a bit. I mean Kurayami has two Sacred Gears and he is a Death Mage which you very much are not. Now then, Akeno what do you feel for Kurayami?"
Akeno closed her eyes before turning to him.
"I love him."
Kuroka turned to Kurayami.
"And you?"
"I also love her."
Kuroka nodded pleased with herself.
"In that case, is there a problem?"
Akeno began to cry as she had good friends who pushed her to say her true feelings. She stood up and jumped into Kurayami's arms. He wrapped his arms around her tightly as she got him in a tight squeeze.
"I thought you would call me disgusting and a pervert."
"And I thought you would call me a creep who wants his sister."
Akeno looked up and without hesitation dived in to kiss him. Esdeath, Raynare, and Kuroka looked on as Akeno and Kurayami began to exchange a very passionate kiss. Kuroka nodded.
'A job well done.'
Of course, once their kiss ended, Esdeath, Raynare, and Kuroka also wanted their kisses. After an eventful night where he made out with 4 girls one being his sister, he fell asleep surrounded by soft bodies.
However, he was so relaxed that he did not notice when someone else joined him. He had gotten so distracted by Akeno that he did not lock his door.
---
When he woke up the next morning and opened his right eye all he saw was a large pair of white breasts. He moved his eye a little and saw Lavinia had a blank look and fell asleep soon after.
'Lavinia? When did she come here and how did I not notice?'
Just as he was going to move Kuroka opened her eyes and saw where his head was. She pulled him out of Lavinia's embrace and pushed his head into her breasts. She licked his ear and whispered.
"Here, these are better."
"Are they?"
Kuroka smiled.
"Yes, they are. They are mine, meow."
Kuroka hugged his head tighter, but Lavinia hugged his head from behind and now he was squished in between two great pairs of breasts. He wanted to ask how Lavinia got here, but he was lulled into a relaxed state and he ended up falling asleep again.
Shin was here the whole time and he would have warned him if it was anyone dangerous. A few hours later, when he woke up again found that both Lavinia and Kuroka were still holding him.
He was unwilling to move and even Kuroka hugged him tighter.
"Sleep."
She was like a cat and slept for most of the day. He moved his hand and began to tickle her until she broke out laughing which woke up the other girls. They saw him tickling Kuroka and they looked over and saw Lavinia just a shirt hugging him.
When she woke up she looked at Kurayami she tilted her head.
"Kurayami. How did you get in there?"
Kurayami got out of her breasts.
"No. You just came in here in the middle of the night and hugged me. I just didn't mind and let it slide."
Esdeath had noticed, but she let it pass. That reminded him, he never asked Lavinia her age.
The blond witch tilted her head.
"18. Why?"
Kurayami shook his head.
"You certainly mature."
She did not get it as a natural airhead.
"Thank you. I do try."
Akeno began to laugh as people like Lavinia were the kindest.
"Don't change, you're adorable."
As everyone woke up Kurayami noticed Shin had gotten bigger during the night. Before he was the size of a chihuahua and now he was the size of a German shepherd. The girls all looked at the pup who went from a puppy to a doggo.
Kurayami liked cute animals, but he also liked them in their adult states. Aurora who had slept here as well would take longer to grow as she was an animal, not a Sacred Gear.
Raynare got out of bed and she waved her hand causing her clothes to appear around her.
"Well, let's go out and find the Utsusemi Agency headquarters. The sooner we get this done the faster we can relax."
Everyone followed suit until they were all dressed. Kuroka wanted to sleep more so he grabbed her tails and gave her a zap.
"NYYAAAAA."
She jumped like a cat seeing a cucumber and she pouted.
"Meanie."
"You sleep on my head anyway."
"True."
She turned into a cat jumped on his head and fell asleep almost instantly. When they all went out Natsume squinted her eyes at Lavinia.
"Lavinia, why did you fall asleep in there."
Raynare explained that.
"We asked her that and it seems she went to the bathroom and got lost on her way back. Instead, she jumped into bed with us."
Natsume sighed.
"I kinda expected that. She is kind of an airhead."
Lavinia wondered why everyone called her that.
"I assure you, my head is not full of air."
Everyone shook their heads as they went into the kitchen. Tobio, Shuri, Baraqiel, and Suzaku were there. Shuri was curious about something.
"Akeno, did you fall asleep in Kurayami's room."
Akeno nodded.
"Yeah. We were talking about some training plans and when it got late I fell asleep."
Shuri did not suspect anything as that was reasonable.
"I see. Rest more."
"Yes, mom."
As they ate, Kurayami had some plans. Give Night Reflection Cross to Akeno who could turn it into a Longinus. The chances of that were not common, but she was talanted. She already had a legendary weapon so one more would be a packaged deal.
