The battle

Still steaming, Kierra stormed into the inn, heading straight to her room.

Aeris saw her walked in, grew worried, and went after her. He knocked gently against the door, "Are you okay in there, Kierra?"

"Don't try to be my father, just walk away!" Kierra cried.

"But I am your father, dear." Aeris said, letting himself in, "Forgive me for intruding but I just couldn't help but worry about you!"

Kierra is on her bed. She looks up at Aeris with disregard "What do you want?"

"Is it wrong for a father to want to know his own child?" Aeris inquired.

Kierra scoffed, "Sounds like the beginning of a tragic story!"
