Did the lights go out? But then how come I can still see within the darkness…now this is weird…
Standing up he suddenly realized that his bed was gone. Surprised he looked around and could only see complete blackness around himself. Turning his head, he suddenly noticed a boy, probably no older than five or six years was sitting in the darkness on a rocking chair, swinging back and forth without a care in the world.
The boy waved at Lucas to come towards him and once the boy stopped waving, he found himself already standing in front of him.
Somehow, he was unable to make out anything about the boy, was he even a boy? Simply looking at him made his eyes sting and he wanted to look away but something seemed to have grabbed a hold of him.
"Welcome Lucas, it has been some time since I last had a visitor" A dry voice said that made Lucas want to cover his ears. It sounded old, ancient even.
"Now now, no need to be afraid. I am not going to hurt you. However, I can admit that I am a little cross with you. Well you see, you weren't supposed to be there after all, you do realize it's never okay to do what you've been doing lately right?"
"We can't have you mess up the natural order after all, then again it's not really your fault for being born there is it? What to do what to do…you shouldn't go around trusting people the way you did, if you ask me you should trust "no one", you can't even trust yourself sometimes."
"Still this isn't actually getting us anywhere, you can't go back to earth after all you'd simply be a lab rat again and all my effort of brining you here would have been in vain."
For once during all the ramblings Lucas shook his head, it was true he didn't want to go back to that place.
"Oh, good you agree, besides…Lenah said I'd have to erase you from existence if you asked to go back. Now I will be sending you to a place where powers such as yours is ordinary, completely ordinary I tell you, in fact you'd probably be a bit on the weak side if you went there. So here I'll give you this."
A small stick was thrown towards Lucas who barely managed to catch it, it felt like blood was running down from his eyes and ears simply because of looking and listening to the entity before him for too long.
"Well now you should be thankful, really, really thankful I tell you, because you see that stick you got there in your hand is…oh I am so sorry we seem to be all out of time, especially looking at your state it seems your body is starting to break down, and you've barely been here for eight minutes and thirty four seconds, my oh my, how time flies by, well then I wish you luck on your new journey."
Lucas could barely make out what the entity was saying at this point, but he was able to finally look around and he could see cracks forming across his hands.
Suddenly he was simply missing and only the entity was left rocking back and forth in its chair. A wicked smile appeared on its lips.
"I just told you to trust "no one", ha ha hahaahahahah" A joyful and wildly cackling laughter filled the space as only darkness remained.

Lucas appeared in a forest sparsely populated by trees, they reminded him of birch with their white colouring and black spots. How long had it been since he'd been outside? Breathing in the fresh air a smile bloomed on his face.
He was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a simple white t-shirt, sadly since he spent all his time inside, he had adopted to wearing a pair of flip-flops instead of a pair of sneakers. Well hopefully he could find some kind of civilization soon.
"Damn that reminds me, what langue do they speak here? What about money, food, background…uhh this is not going to end well is it?" Lucas said to himself, after spending most of his time alone he had adopted a way of thinking out aloud and speaking to himself in general.
Confused at what to do he started to think about the situation he was in.
First the strange entity had said this was a world were powers like his own was the norm. But he didn't even know what kind of powers he had himself, it would be great if he could simply look at his personal information.
As if in response to his thought's information started to assemble in his mind and he could somehow see a picture with his personal information within his mind.
Name: Lucas
Rank: 0 - ?
Stats: Strength: 0.9 Agility: 1.1 Physique: 0.8 Will: 0.6 Energy: 4.3
Abilities (2): Life-force Sense
Life-force Transfer
This was strangely informative but very basic at the same time, so his power was seen as two separate abilities life-force sense and transfer, could it be more descriptive?
Life-force Sense (Able to sense and see life-force within a certain distance), Life-force Transfer (Able to transfer life-force from the user to a target the user is in direct contact with).
The stats were fairly easy to understand but why was his will so low, true he was a bit timid, but who wasn't?
Not that there was much he could do about it anyway.
Looking around Lucas wondered which way would be the best to head towards. It would be for the best to find some civilization but having no idea he could only wander in a general direction and hope for the best.
Deciding to walk straight forward he began to twirl around the wooden stick in his hand, with no information or clue as to what it did, the best he could think of was to use it as a means of entertainment.
Sooo going with a stat screen at the moment. Really a bit torn if I should have it or not, but I find it an easy way to show progress so at least for now it will be a part of the story but might be edited out in the future.
It will however be very short in info and I will most likely not reference it a lot in the story while I might reference it outside of the story like a wiki page of sort.
We'll see how it goes.
