Things Uncalled-for

It's dark and quiet and the street lights can't properly light every part of it. Only Two people stared at each other under the dim light.

"W-what are you on about again?" (Samantha)

"Didn't I tell you not to act in front of me? I heard it. I heard it all back there. I can't believe you think I'm such a dimwit. So wouldn't it be bad if I don't show you practically?"

Nick slammed open the door while kissing Samantha aggressively. All they could think about was each other as He grabbed her thighs and picked her up while she unbuttoned his shirt. He pinned her to the bed while taking off his belt. "Haaah...Let's see how your dimwit guy treats you"

Samantha started calculating her lifespan when she looked down at Nick's leg.

"W-wait what is that? Ahahah, I forgot Naveah told me to vis- Kyaaaa...!" Nick pulled her by the leg when she tried to crawl out.

"Don't run away. I won't hurt you. After all, you're the woman I've kept in my heart for 4 years."

Samantha's mind went blank as she felt Nick's lips all over her body and his large hand sliding down.

She covered her mouth to not make any sound but Nick moved her hand saying "Don't hold back, let me hear you. Call out my name, say you love me," His low voice reached her as she felt his lips touching her ears. Soon they became together in one body and mind throughout the whole night.

IN THE MORNING-

Samantha was dazed since she only had 3 hours of sleep.

Nick moved closer and hugged her nude body from behind and kissed her back "You're so beautiful, I can't get enough,"

"Enough, my ass. I didn't get to sleep and my back hurts. I also have work today!!" She pushed his face.

Nick grabbed her hand and gave it a soft kiss "Samantha, I wanna see my ring on your finger, let's get married after catching the culprit. What do you say, hmm??" Nick's eyes looked full of expectations.

"....Call me Lexi from now on, if you want. Only my family members call me by that name." She blushed and looked away.

"Is that your way of agreeing?" Nick chuckled.

"Y-yeah so what? Now get off me! I need to shower." She pushed him away.

"Let's shower together! I'll scrub your back," Nick jumped up!

"I can see your evil thoughts, you PERVERT!! DON'T YOU DARE!!" she stormed off and slammed the door.

ON THE OTHER SIDE-

"I've been managing company organizational structure, and strategy, and communicating with the board. What were you doing in the meantime? I appointed you to take care of the agenda, What have you been doing?" Zane asked the chief when everyone in the room held their breath in fear.

Then suddenly an employee Whispered something to him while shaking. Zane's mood completely changed and he nodded to the employee.

Naveah peeked into the room and Zane gave an affectionate smile saying "Babe, I've been waiting for you," as if he was showing off.

Everyone else in the room looked at Naveah thinking"Ah! Is this the sunshine sent by God to same our job?"

Turned out they were right. Zane walked out of the room with Naveah while glaring at them, which meant "Next time, you're all gonna be fired!"

"Why did you ask her to take me there? Is it fun to show off?" Naveah squeezed his cheeks.

"Of course, especially when I have a beautiful Girlfriend like you." He leaned closer and removed her bangs to kiss her forehead

"They didn't give you any work today either? Did you go to the PBI?" He sat on his chair with Naveah sitting on his lap.

"..No! Nick asked me to go there by 4. But something doesn't feel right." (Naveah)

"Don't worry too much. I'll make you feel happy very soon. Just wait for a little," He softy bit her nape and started sucking.

"Argh...H-hey not there! We're in the office. Are you a dog?" She struggled.

At that moment Emmi walked in to see Naveah sitting on Zane's lap.

"Uhh...sorry I should've knocked. But Si-...Mam these documents..?" Emmi said while looking down at the floor.

"Leave them on the desk and leave," Zans said with a cold voice.

"Ughh...I wanna dig a hole and bury myself there. That was so embarrassing..! She's gonna think we're some crazy shit." Naveah tried to get down but Zane grabbed her waist tightly "So? I AM crazy shit. we'll have lunch together today. I'll take a day off tomorrow, let's have a date."

"Sure date it is!" (Naveah)

THE PBI-/AFTERNOON/

Naveah walked into the office and saw Nick standing beside a banquet of flowers.

"Is there something special going on?" She peeked around the hall. "What're these flowers for?"

"It's more special than any other things, I'm going to propose Samantha!" (Nick)

"Woah!!! You guys finally made out? Damn, that was so smooth! I'm feeling really excited to see her reaction!! Where is she??" Naveah covered her mouth with excitement!!

"She'll be here by 4.30, It's almost time," Nick said while checking his clock!

"Your 4 years crush will finally become yours! Good luck buddy." Naveah gave him a thumbs up.

Nick walked closer as soon as he spotted Samantha getting inside. Everyone in the hallway stared at her as She moved closer to him while looking around with confusion.

Finally, she came in front of Nick and was about to ask "what's going on" but before that Nick kneeled in front of her. Samantha's heart thundered in her chest since she didn't expect this at all.

Nick looked at her while holding a box of pair rings and uttered the words "After catching the culprit, Will you marry me, Lexi? Will you become my wife and stay with me until our last breath?"

Samantha covered her mouth while staring at Nick. Her eyes became wet, before she realized She said "Yes I will!"

Nick placed the ring on her finger and picked her up while kissing her eyes and cheeks. They laughed and hugged each other as if it was the end of the world for them.

Naveah watched them from afar and felt so warm seeing them happy. She wanted to freeze time to keep this moment with her forever because it felt like she'll never get to see this moment again.

Suddenly one of the officer's member called out to her. She walked out with the person to officer David.

"Ms Naveah Tylar You've been eliminated from the investigation and police department for your lack of attention to work, betrayal and corruption." David took a glance at her, "You're fired!"

"Huh...? W-what do you....mean?"

Naveah was appalled as these words rang into her head when she can still hear the applause from the hallway...!
