The emotion "Love"

Under the pale crescent moon, Oliver's yellow eyes shone like a golden claw as he stared deep into Navee's eyes.

"My father wasn't a doctor, he was.....in charge of the mafia" Oliver opened his mouth as he gazed at the stars while sitting down.

"I didn't like my dad's work. I wanted a normal life and a simple son-dad relationship since my mom wasn't there. But all I saw my dad doing was beating people up, asking them for money and threatening them. I felt devastated at home. People usually judge, depending on what they see instead of knowing why and I was one of them. The six leaders of grey cobra they speak of now were the only people besides me back then."

Oliver sighed and looked at Navee who was listening to him eagerly. He felt a thump in his chest when he saw Navee's tilted curious face. He blushed as he continued explaining "I-i went to the PBI to relieve myself from all this and then I met you. I felt free with you, a person who nagged me, taught me thinking I went there to work as a cop." Oliver chuckled.

"Yeah I mistook you for an applicator and you went along with it?" Naveah Give him a dazed look of bewilderment.

"yeah, that's how I joined the PBI as your junior. I wanted to be with you and thought maybe I can have a normal life here with you. But good days don't last long, does it? Dad was admitted to the hospital, he lost his legs in a fight and the survival rate was 5%. I had to go see him." (Oliver) "Is that why you took 3 months off last year?" (Navee)

"Yes, seeing the sight of him made my heart drop. The man who held power all those times is now looking at me with a helpless expression. I felt mixed emotions of hatred and sympathy. But then he uttered his words " I'm sorry for not making you laugh freely, but my son never think you had a bloodthirsty dad who never loved you. The little boy I raised, the boy standing in front of me now and the man he'll become in my absence, I'll always love him." I don't know what I felt at that moment but my mind went blank. Later that night he passed away and the whole mansion went numb, then I realised how important my dad was to everyone.

Karl, Jack, Finn, Jett, Anna and Henry refused to let go of me. Everyone respected me as they did my dad. The bond they had between them wasn't as a ruler and vassal but something even deep, which I understand now. I'm only explaining to you because I don't want you to hate me. I don't want you to push me away thinking I'm a criminal or a dangerous person," Oliver turned to Naveah and cupped her cheek with his hand sending a jolt in her body. "Naveah....don't see me as a child anymore, I'm a man. I don't want anyone else to take you from me." Oliver moved closer to her face for a kiss but Naveah pushed him away "Stop, what do you think you're doing?" Navee backed off.

"Naveah I'm in lov-" Before he could finish, all he could feel was a hand on his face that instantly smashed his face on the roof with a loud crashing sound.

Oliver let out a groan with his bloody mouth, blood started sliding down his forehead.

"OLIVER!!!" Naveah gasped.

"I think I told you to mind your own business"

Navee looked up in front of her and saw the grim reaper-like shiny blue eyes staring at her.

"T-tessa..? no, h-how??" Naveah looked at zane with misbelief in her eyes. Zane straight walked towards Naveah and yanked her up. "w-wait, Oliver is injured!" Naveah grabbed zane's coat.

"Be quiet!" He carried her up on his shoulder and jumped down as soon as Anna spotted them.

"Get them!" Anna shouted while pulling out her gun.

"Boss! what happened to you? Those Motherfuckers! Kill them, Jett!!" Henry shouted with anger while helping Oliver to stand up. The 6 of them surrounded zane and Naveah.

"L-let them pass. Leave, all of you!" Oliver shouted from the roof.

"But boss!!" Karl denied.

"I'll repeat once. Let Them Go!" Oliver stared at Zane while he walked out with Naveah.

Zane walked towards his car and buckled up Naveah without saying anything. He took her straight to his room and locked the door.

"T-tessa...liste-" She didn't get a chance to finish.

"WHAT....were you doing there with him?" Zane glared at her from his right shoulder.

"Ho-how did you find me?" Naveah asked with fear mixed in her voice.

"Are you in a place to ask me questions?" Zane turned to Naveah and slowly walked towards her as Naveah kept backing off. She tripped and fell on the bed to see Zane slamming both of his hands on the bed, trapping Naveah in the middle.

"Why did you go there without telling me? Didn't you tell me you'll inform me whenever you go somewhere? Hmm? Did you lie?" Zane moved closer to Navee's face while she turned her face away "I-if I lied then what about you? How did you find me?" Naveah blushed while gulping.

"You weren't home when it's night outside and you expect me to stay home. I have my ways to find you. Why did you go there?" (Zane)

"I-i understand, I'll explain. So can you please move?" Navee tried to push him away but Zane grabbed her by the wrists tightly "No! I'm not letting go now, Naveah. I let you go the first time and you ended up on the mafia's roof. You're mine Naveah. Don't even dare to think about anyone else except me." Zane moved closer and bit her slender collarbone.

"Argh...T-tessa..it hurts, let go!" She struggled as she tried to escape from Zane's grip.

"Naveah, the words he said to you, forget them. I don't like this feeling. If it's hard for you to forget it then let me replace them," Zane grabbed her chin and looked into her eyes " I've been in love with you for a long time that you can't imagine." His words were filled with painful rigidness and his desperate look shook Navee's heart as he continued, "I'd rather die than be without you Naveah. Become mine, I love you and will always love you with all my heart Naveah, please never leave my side. I need you here beside me." He said with a cracked voice and buried his face into Navee's shoulder.

She slowly trapped him with Arms Locked Around his Neck and whispered "Even though I'm a girl?"

"Wherever you are, however you are, whatever you are, as long as it's you !" Zane moved closer to her and felt her warm and soft lips as they parted slightly, allowing his tongue to slip inside.
