Book 1 - Chapter 12: Bad Smell

Inside the cage was an ugly-looking person, her entire body was black and rotting her face was not visible at all, and to make matters worse, a foul stench was coming out of his body.

She was breathing heavily, the look in her eyes was like a dead.

Seeing that Alen rushed to help her while he still had time, "Oh my, hey, hang on" Alen melted the cage and he went inside.

The stench was getting stronger, but Alen didn't care. As long as he could still help, this kind of smell didn't matter to him.

"Take it easy, I'll heal you"

"[Heal]"

A very bright and warm light appeared, illuminating Alen body and she. Quickly all the wounds and strange things that happened to her body began to recover completely.

Her face that had been very ugly now began to tighten and become beautiful, the body that had been stinking now became very fragrant.

Alen looked at her again, and what he saw in front of him now was a beautiful girl who others might not believe that she used to be so ugly, if not seeing her in person.

She looked at her whole body in confusion, and stared at Alen. "DEMON!!!" Aria shouted with a terrified face, and at that moment Alen realized that the woman had two beautiful horns that rose upwards.

Hearing that, she felt frightened as if something was going to happen to her.

"Relax, I won't do anything bad to you"

With a soft voice, Alen tried to calm both of them down. But Aria remained frightened, because there was no other choice, Alen took her to Arasy.

Alen whispered to her, "I will take you to a safe place"

"[Arasy]"

She was swallowed by Alen's shadow and vanished into the darkness, seeing that Aria was even more shocked.

"Wh-What happened?"

"I don't know, it looks like she ran away" Alen lied.

"What's your name by the way?" Alen asked to distract her.

"A-Aria... Aria Von Elvins."

'Von Elvins? Looks like she's a noble'

"Greetings Aria, my name is Alen Kirain"

Alen shook hands with Aria, "So the demon managed to escape?" Aria asked confirming again and Alen's answer remained the same "Sort of, but we were lucky enough that she escaped. I wouldn't have been able to fight him if he attacked"

Aria looked quite nervous and she boldly tried to ask "By the way how old are you?"

Alen was quite nervous to answer, "Two years, And I'll be three years old soon"

Aria was surprised, of course it was natural for her to be surprised. She was about to turn four, and when she turned five she would start learning magic. Yet she now saw a child below her age who could already do magic.

"Now I'll ask you back, how old are you?" Alen asked in a curious childlike tone of voice.

"Th-Three" Aria with a bit of embarrassment and envy, who lost in the field of magic, stutteringly replied

"Woah, that means you're older than me. Hello, sis Aria."

Alen smiled and called Aria as sister, to eliminate the awkward atmosphere. And Aria who heard her being called big sister looked shy and looked very happy.
