The Devil On Your Shoulder II

"Aisling, is that you?" Vidar asks, examining the petite frame that contradicted the image of Aisling in his head.

"In the Devilish flesh my darling." She says before making her way to Niya circling her slowly her feet floating just above the ground as she did. Then with feline-like reflexes, her hands lunge for her angelic counterparts' sides. Her hands frantically searched every voluptuous inch of her body causing Niya to squirm Aisling tenderly touched her wings causing Niya's knees to buckle.

"Uhh... can you two get a separate room I'd rather not watch my sister's girlfriend fondle her." Vidar stated lying flush on his back on the bed closing his eyes. The comment caused Aisling to roll their eyes. With a quick blink of movement, Vidar could feel a weight above him Aisling was now straddling him her crimson hair dropped down around his head he opened his eyes to be met with two pools of red with slits staring back.

"You know I looked you both up you call her your sister but you both have different parents?" Aisling's voice was always enchanting but even more so now Vidar could smell her she was so close and the sweet aroma caused him to blush harder than he already was.

"We grew up in the same orphanage..." Niya adds watching them from the foot of the bed.

"And escaped the same shit foster home and grew up on the same fucked up streets so I don't need blood to remind me who my family is." Vidar says unflinchingly keeping Aisling's gaze but he can't help but notice that Aisling eyes seem to be searching for something they hold a longing and deep pain that calls out to something deep inside himself but before he can question it Aisling fades in a puff of black smoke.

"Well good I needed a team with focus and loyalty and I'm glad I chose you two!" She says after reappearing by the table of food and stuffing her face.

"The game has low-grade memory dampeners built into the helmets and the goal of all the AI you'll encounter is to make you feel like you're in the real world thankfully for you the dampeners won't be a huge problem cause of us, but try not to daydream too hard about your other life it'll pop red flags left and right." She adds in between devouring plates of food at a time.

"I see so that's the point of this room then?" Vidar asks making his way from the bed to the cup of wine from earlier quickly chugging it to watch it slowly refill again.

"Bingo! it's the job of your Angel slash Moderator here to catalog and categorize your spiritual desires and needs while I, your Devil normally run by an AI to categorize your more carnal desires." Aisling says finishing the last of a plate of noodles before floating back to the bed where she gently lands in the center to rest.

"To what end? And why one AI and one Human?" Vidar asks growing a little impatient with Aisling's nonchalant nature.

"Humans tend to have bias extreme or small and the developers thought an AI wouldn't pass judgment and wouldn't be burdened by the moral affinities of an individual and with new systems like the Morality Meter and Pivotal Moments they wanted no hesitation on either side. Humans rarely freeze up doing good while an AI wouldn't hesitate to grant the most evil of wishes if taught to." Aisling explains while stretching and kneading the pillows like a cat.

"So then will you-

-Hesitate!?" Aisling says interrupting Vidar's question while peering at him from the bed.

"Why do you plan on doing something that awful?" Aisling tone was teasing but she kept her gaze on him waiting for the response.

"If I felt I had to..." Vidar replied a eerie look in his eye and apathy in his tone.

"Alright! You've eaten and drank! Uh, and the bathroom is in there haha!" Niya interjects trying to lighten the mood pointing to a door Vidar wasn't sure was there earlier.

"Now that you mention it..." Vidar says before making his way into the bathroom.

"The entire world is going to be watching this you know she can't allow hatred to blind her to the goal a-

-She won't okay? You have to trust her and be a little patient... she lost a lot in that last game." Niya interrupted a sullen look easing its way onto her face.

"Yeah... I know but we all did and we can't lose this time you understand?" Aisling said sitting up and sliding to the edge of the bed.

"We understand." Niya replies holding Aisling's gaze until the bathroom door opens again.

"Whoa, that was way easier than I thought!" Vidar says while exiting the bathroom a look of accomplishment still on his face.

"Glad everything's working properly." Niya says with a chuckle.

"We should make sure everything's working no?" Aisling says and with a flick of her wrist two torrents of black smoke whip and churn until they form a nude man and a woman at the foot of the bed. Immediately Vidar recognized the woman and a pang of heartache shot through his chest the man was less familiar but his keen-looking eyes tugged at the back of his mind.

"What are these?" Vidar ask rage underlining his tone.

"Designation in the game are incubi and succubi but essential they're in-game creatures that you'll have to deal with but right now they're yours." With a snap of Aisling's fingers, the two puppets move with purpose over to Vidar both caressing him with wanton eyes.

"Get rid of them, now." Vidar demanded with death in his tone. Niya a little scared backed away from Vidar while Aisling who was surprised by the hate emanating from him couldn't help but also be intrigued.

"Fine you're no fun... they take the form of the ones you most desire for me it was Niya and a college crush I had once upon a time, who did they become for you?" Aisling asked looking at Niya who shook her head in disagreement.

"Memories of the past no reason to stir up red flags this early I'd like to choose my class and go over the game plan now." Vidar responded looking to Aisling to begin the process.

"Fine let's begin." Aisling begrudgingly obliged as she opened several windows with varying information.
