"[Orbit], Grace." My plan was to keep her invisible inside of the inn for now, but once we made it outside to keep her visible. I want her to become friends with as many town folk as possible. That way I can collect information quickly.
The inn is bustling today, there's a lot of people ordering food. I can make out some of the conversation.
"Areth, one plate of ground (can't understand) meat!"
"Areth, a cold (can't understand) please!"
"Areth, a bowl of (can't understand) soup!"
The owner, who spoke to us before, peeks out from behind the counter.
"Aye! Coming up!" She shouts back, noticing I've come down the stairs she smiles in my direction. She seems a bit too busy to come talk to me though. I wave and exit the inn.
"Okay Grace, off you go." I remove her invisibility. Her charisma is so amazingly big that she's surrounded by people in an instant. Good luck, Grace.
I really want to explore the town a bit, and check out some shops. I need to find out what people are interested in here. I don't want to become a merchant, but it could be interesting to learn a bit about it. One of the shops that caught my eye before, is a shop that has different tools inside.
The door triggers a chime when I open it. The shop is cluttered with all sorts of different items. Some look familiar, and others look weird. I walk up to the counter, and a young man greets me.
"Welcome to (can't understand) Tool Shop! Is there anything you're looking for?" His face is wrinkled, but he's somehow youthful. What is this, magic?
"Can I sell tools here?" I have so many useless items that came from the starter kit. A hoe, a pickaxe. I don't plan to use them at all. The only problem is that they look way too fancy. I'm not sure if I'll be able to sell any of it.

"Sure, what do you want to sell?" The man has a full beard and is well dressed. I walk towards the counter and look into my item box, it contains my starter kit and a couple other things that looked cat related but I hadn't looked through it all yet. I pull out pieces of my starter kit including the hoe and the pickaxe. I'm not here to play Catcraft. When I remove the items, the man looks shocked.
"This looks very expensive." He looks at the two pieces carefully, using a magnifying glass to see specific details. Then he looks back at me shocked.
"These are magic tools, missy, where did you get them from?" His calm demeanor is lost as he scrambles a little. I hadn't realized it would be this much of an issue, I thought I could get a little bit from it but magic tools? Maybe I should have been a little more careful. But where should I say I got them from? God? No no.

"It's a family heirloom but I'm thinking of selling it." I gave a simple answer, I guess it's not a full lie. It is an heirloom, but an heirloom from God himself. Well, one of the Gods at least.
"These two are wonderful, it looks like it's from a set. Do you only have these two pieces?" He can't stop looking at the hoe and the pickaxe. I hope this doesn't cause a commotion.
"I only have those two." I state cleanly. I actually had the full set, of course. But the other pieces looked useful and I didn't want to get rid of them.
"That's too bad then..." He nods at the end of his sentence, and thinks for a while.
"Can I sell it?" I curiously ask. Having a bit of traveling expenses would be nice. Plus then I wouldn't owe money at the inn. They were offering me free food cause I'm young looking but it felt weird to owe people in this world.
"Of course! Though, I don't know how many people would offer the accurate price since it is just a hoe and a pickaxe. What I can do though, is use some of my connections with the capital and you could offer it at their next auction?" He seemed to be extremely excited at that thought. The capital though? That's probably far away right? I'll have to ask. Also, I didn't just notice but it seems like I'm quickly picking up the language. I thought I'd have to keep studying diligently but I guess the true way to learn a language is to speak in it and talk to others that speak it after all.
"How far is the capital from here?" I'm not against moving away from this village, as it looked barren around it. I wanted to settle in somewhere a little more lively, but not too lively. The capital might not be the perfect spot but I'm sure I'll be able to find a suitable location from there.
"Have you never been to the capital before, little missy?" He has got to stop calling me little missy, but wait... What would I even call myself here? How did I just think about that? Of course he'd call me little missy, I haven't even introduced myself yet. Should I think of an alias for now?
