Mei blushed deeply as he took out the golden physical enhancement potion he had exchanged earlier.
"Alright, I'm done teasing you. Here you go." He handed the bottle to her.
Mei shook the bottle, watching as the golden liquid shimmered softly under the moonlight. Streaks of golden light seemed to flow constantly back and forth within.
"This is..." She blinked curiously. Yusuke often managed to produce things that surprised her.
"Super physical enhancement potion!" He chuckled, "Try it — it's mango-flavored."
Her eyes lit up with excitement. She had complete faith in his words.
Without hesitation, she twisted open the cap, tilted her head back, and drank it all in one go. The golden liquid flowed down her throat and into her stomach.
Instantly, waves of incredibly powerful energy began coursing through Mei's entire body. She could clearly feel the chakra inside her undergoing a dramatic change.
Typically, chakra growth requires years of training. But now, this growth was an immediate, qualitative increase.

"So you want me to just watch as Minato suffers inhuman torture there?" Kushina's eyes were red, clearly showing she hadn't slept well.
"I said no, and I mean no! As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, how could I possibly send you to them?" Hiruzen roared.
"So you want me to just sit here and do nothing?" Kushina gritted her teeth, "There's only one day left! If I don't appear in Kirigakure, Minato will —"
As she spoke, her eyes welled up with tears again. These past two days, she hadn't slept a wink. When she did doze off, all she saw were nightmarish images of Minato dying before her eyes.
"I said no, and that's final!" Hiruzen had steeled his resolve.
"You —" Kushina was so angry her chest heaved. She stormed out, slamming the door behind her.
"ANBU!" Hiruzen called out in a low voice. Instantly, two ANBU ninja appeared by his side, "Watch her. If there's any unusual behavior, subdue her."
"Yes, sir!" The two ANBU ninja accepted the order and vanished in a flash.
Kushina, who had left the Hokage's office, keenly sensed the ANBU ninja behind her. She gritted her teeth, glancing in the direction of Konoha's main gate.
At that moment, she made up her mind.
"Minato! Wait for me!"
