Life of Xerxes

Hey ya'll, this is my Second attempt at writing a story. I abandoned my other writing Account based on a few circumstances. First and foremost. This story may or may not be long and I will not be posting every day. Maybe the beginning I will post frequently, or I may not. I don't know. This is a makeup as we go story meaning even, I don't know what will happen and will just be going with the flow. Last thing the chapters will be around 700-1000 words more or less so relatively short chapters. Anyways, This Story is about a boy who was raised in the darkness by an evil group that creates child soldiers. They are called "Accursed" due to the children ending up having shining red eyes and frightening battle capabilities with a tattoo the glows ominously. They are half human and half monster/beast. Just one of these children are worth a thousand men. Though they aren't that many considering the final test to be complete is a battle royale and the last 5 standing get to be sent out to the battlefields. The Children are sold as slaves to different countries and are used as tools of war. They have no free will due to the collars they wear that acts as a crest they will punish and torture the child should they misbehave or refuse a direct order.
