Chapter 10: An empire declares war

It's only been a week since my father's death and yet now I felt regret, did I do the right thing? I kept wondering for hours and soon the police were about to arrive I kept to the side and the police said he either did it to himself or someone else did, as I was on the plane the news was on everywhere talking about it they wouldn't stop so when I got back I told everyone from now on it's only recon missions for a couple weeks. They followed my orders, but some started to question my standards of leading and others just did what they were told, "Diana...? You do realize that it's only been two weeks and you haven't said a word" said Alex it made me concerned of my actions, but I knew he was right he knew something was up. When he started to listen what happened he knew how it felt and his words were "Diana, je sais que tu as l'impression que c'est de ta faute, mais tu n'es pas seule s'ils étaient ta famille, ils sauraient ce que tu ressens, et ils seraient à tes côtés, alors arrête de penser que c'est de ta faute si tu es enfin à la maison avec nous tous..."

Those words made me feel like I am home and he was right and once I saw that we we're the first wanted criminals for assassinating the richest man Revon Carson...well I smiled in delight but it wasn't because I got rid of my dad no it was because I made him proud in becoming 1st in wanted criminals so me and my crew celebrated the whole night through except for me I just kept working the whole night not even realizing that I didn't sleep the night through. The only thing I did was work on my next scheme now people just called me a "workaholic" because I was always working but I have no reason to hide or follow the rules...now we all rise and take what's ours!
