Chapter 6: Goku

When Roshi saw the two, he could tell that they were quite fluent in Martial arts, as they had such fine Ki control, while they were even able to fly, making Roshi think they were students of his long time rival Master Shen.

[No, we are not currently under a Master, but we have learned from Kami how to control our Ki]: soren

When Roshi heard Soren's words, he thought for a moment before he fell into a memory and began speaking.

[Kami, ay?... I remember hearing about him from Korin, and it was rare for those who train with Korin to be brought even further up, and there, they would train with Kami… Such a gift was considered a miracle for a Martial Artist, and sadly, I was never chosen to go and meet with him… You both seem lucky that you were able to meet with him… I'll train you, but first ehehehe- Owch!!]: roshi

[No perverted stuff Old man!]: gine

Soren noticed that Gine whacked Roshi in the head, but what surprised him even more, was the fact that she restrained herself, and made sure she didn't kill him.

[Okay, you guys can sleep here for the time being, but bright and early tomorrow, we will being training]: roshi

Both Soren and Gine were given a spare room to sleep in, while Roshi went back to his pervert dance videos, and bright and early next morning, Roshi woke the two of them up, and led them outside, where Roshi then walked towards the waters, and then he popped open a capsule and threw it towards the water, and in the next second, a boat appeared, and floated in the water, shocking Gine, while Soren was just impressed as he had never seen it actually be performed before. Roshi then walked over to the house and pressed a button on it making it turn into a puff of smoke, before he then picked up a tiny capsule, and then got in the 4 seater boat, and gestured for Gine to sit next to him, while a lecherous grin was plastered on his face, and when Gine saw that, she got angry, and was about to send a Ki blast towards Roshi, but Soren calmed her down, and they decided to fly instead.

'Tch!... Show offs…': roshi

Roshi then drove the boat towards the closest island to his home, and when they got there, both Gine and Soren saw that it was much bigger than Roshi's small island by 1,000 if not 10,000 times bigger, and appeared to be able to house a small city, and still have room for growth. Soren and Gine landed down on the ground, while Roshi pressed a button and returned the ship into its capsule form, and then began to speak to his new students.

[Now listen… My training doesn't rely on Ki, more it strengthens your body, and let's you house more of it… Whenever you are doing my training, you can not use Ki in your actions, so no flying]: roshi

Roshi then began looking around, and when he found a nice sized stone, he then took a brush with some ink on it, and marked the stone with the turtle hermit symbol. Roshi then turned towards the nearby forest, and then with all his might, he threw the stone, and waited for it to land before looking back at both Gine and Soren, and then he spoke.

[Well, what are you waiting for… go find me that stone… The first to come back with the stone gets to eat dinner, while the other has to go the night, hungry]: roshi

After the two of them heard Roshi's words, they quickly rushed into the woods so they could find the stone, while Roshi set up the Kame house on this island, and began preparing for the rest of the day. After around 2.5 hours, Soren came out of the woods victorious, while Gine came out with a dejected look, and when the two of them saw Roshi there talking with the milk delivery man, they wondered what was going on. Even if Soren knew about Roshi's training, he played stupid, and acted as if it were something he had never heard of, so when the two of them walked up to Roshi, he played stupid.

[So what's next, Master Roshi?... A quick milk break?]: soren

[No, Soren… We will be taking over this man's job for the next month or so, while he takes a rest]: roshi

When Gine heard this, she felt it was a stupid and meaningless task, but Soren knew it would help her, while it would only put unneeded habits into his body.

[Well, the helicopter is all ready for you sir… And thanks again for this]: milk man

[No need for the helicopter… We will go by foot]: roshi

The man was wide eyed when he heard Roshi claim to make milk runs on foot, but after being shooed off by Roshi, the man went home.

[Okay, now to make this task a little bit harder… Here, put these on]: roshi

Roshi once again took out a capsule and popped it, making a cloud of smoke appear, and after the could disappeared, there were a bunch of different kinds of turtle shells, and of course they were of different weights as well.

[You will wear this shells on your backs at all time, and if I think that it still looks easy for you, then I will increase the weight of the shells]: roshi

Soren felt that even if Roshi were to place the weight of the world on his back, it would still be considered light with his Cultivation base. Soren and Gine then picked up a shell, then strapped it to their backs, the same as to how Roshi does, and then they picked up some milk crates and began walking.

[Hold up!... You're not doing it right… You need to be skipping while you walk… Like this]: roshi

Roshi then showed them how to perform the task, and after being taught how to do it, Roshi began leading the two of them while skipping himself, as he began heading towards the town down the road with a list in his hands. Soren and Gine then began delivering milk to each and every home, while collecting the old milk bottles from the box on the side of the houses, before moving onto the next houses on the list. Soren and Gine did a similar route as to what Goku and Krillin took in the Dragon Ball Anime, and by the end of the day, Gine was tired, while Soren seemed to be just fine, making Roshi think he wasn't under enough weight, but seeing as Soren took the heaviest weight he had, he almost passed out in shock.

[Soren!... Are you using Ki to make this easy? I told you no use of Ki]: roshi

[No… My body is just at the peak of Mortal capability]: soren

Roshi was a bit weird out with how Soren spoke, but didn't put too much thought into it, as he just decided to watch Soren more closely, while making his tasks much harder.

[You guys did great for Early morning training… Now it's time for mid morning training!... Today you both will try your hand at agriculture]: roshi

Roshi then pointed towards a farm land not too far off in the distance, and with that, they went to go talk to the farmer, and Roshi got both Gine and Soren a job plowing the fields, but they didn't get to use tools, they could only use their hands. Soren saw Gine struggling with this kind of work, so he decided to play with fire, and ended up challenging Gine to a race, to which Gine took the challenge, as he blood started itching, and the two of them began to plow the fields at a much quicker pace, and after a few more hours, both Gine and Soren had finished the fields, and Roshi offered them breakfast. After going out to a nice restaurant and eating using the money Roshi made for handing out Gine and Soren's labors, Roshi was once again broke, and after a quick nap, Roshi woke both Gine and Soren up to start on the studies for today.

[Every Martial Artist can be strong after some training, but it takes one who knows how to use the strength to its fullest who becomes the master… From today onwards, you both will be reading and studying these books about the physical body]: roshi

After Roshi spoke, Soren was the first to begin opening his books, and this action was followed by gine, but a few seconds later, Soren spoke up.

[Uhh… Master Roshi, I don't think that this is the kind of in depth knowledge of the physical body you were talking about]: soren

Roshi got confused with Soren's statement, while Gine couldn't help but look over to see what Soren was looking at, but in the next second, her face became red as she was extremely embarrassed. When Roshi remembered something about a special book he created, he looked at the one he kept for himself, and noticed he had the wrong book, and quickly shot over to Soren's side and snatched his book back while leaving him the proper copy.

[What are you doing!... This is the master copy!]: roshi

'Master copy?... It's just a porn mag taped to the inside of an anatomy book… He really is just a pervert to the core': soren

After spending the rest of the morning studying, noon came, and Roshi said it was lunch time, but this time he brought food in advance, as he knew that he would be eaten out of house and home if he were to take Soren and Gine to a restaurant, or more like if he were to take Gine to a restaurant. After lunch, Roshi explained how rest was a crucial thing to a Martial Artist, and to take a rest when needed was best for proper growth in the Martial Arts way. After their nap, everyone woke up, and Roshi brought them to a construction site where they were once again tasked with working hard labor hours, as they both had shovels and were moving dirt. After getting paid for the day, Roshi took both Sore and Gine to a wide open lake where he explained that due to the sweat they worked up, they needed to bathe in the lake by swimming a few laps back and forth, while also trying to get Gine to remove her clothes for a better cleaning.

[You know, if you don't take off your clothes, you wont get a proper cleaning]: roshi

[She'll be just fine, you pervert]: soren

Soren and Gine then began swimming across the lake, and then back, and then they continued to do this for 30 more laps before they could get out and dry off. Soren had come into contact with the shark of the lake, but with a quick chomp on one of Soren's limbs, the shark was full of regret, as it broke it's teeth trying to pierce Soren's skin. After drying off, Roshi then brought Soren and Gine into a forest, and began tying them to a tree, and while Gine had many questions, Soren knew what was to come, and just let Roshi explain the goal of this test for Gine.

[This will test your dodging and reflex capabilities]: roshi

[And what are we dodging exactly?]: gine

Roshi then snuck close to the tree, then with his stick, he whacked the shit out of a hornet nest, and booked it far away from the tree, and hid behind a rock.

[Don't get stung!... That's the goal of this test!]: roshi

Gine then saw the group of hundreds of angry hornets start coming down from their nest with an angry buzzing sound, and they began to attack whoever was closest to them. While Soren was actively trying to dodge them, Gine was running away from them while not trying to be stung, and in the process, she ended up destroying the tree with a Ki blast, and ruining the training method.

[What the hell was that!... I said no Ki!]: roshi

Roshi began to flail around while waving his stick in the air, and in the process knocked down another hornet hive, and began to be chased while begging for Gine to kill the hornets chasing him, but she ignored his pleas for help. And after a few minutes, Roshi came back seemingly unharmed, but he was hiding a massive sting mark on the back of his head, and who knows how many were hidden under his shirt, and with that, the first day of training had ended, and they went to a restaurant for dinner before heading back to the Kame house. And just like that, 5 years passed by with the same training process every day, and by helping at the construction site, both Soren and Gine basically built a whole building by themselves, and Gine's power had rose to an unimaginable amount for a Saiyan over the last 5 years, as she had a Battle Power of around 12,640, something far beyond what Low Class Saiyans like her could achieve in their lives. And over these 5 years, Gine had grown a lot closer to Soren, and would actively try and get him to cuddle and hold her, but Soren felt like he was taking advantage of Bardock's trust when he promised to take care of Gine and Kakarot.

[You both have gone far past my expectations as students… There is nothing more I can teach you, and you would need to develop this style on your own to further yourself in Martial Arts… Good Luck children]: roshi

[Thank you for all of your help Master Roshi… We will make sure to come back in the future, and show you our progress]: soren

Over the years, Soren had gotten Roshi to divulge his combat style, and was able to learn Hand to Hand Combat, but what Soren noticed, was Roshi's combat style was more focused towards Kung Fu, and Wing Chun, as it focuses on defence and redirection, but there are still offensive techniques built within it.

Roshi then took his boat back to his island, leaving both Soren and Gine there to do their own thing, and while it's been 5 years, Gine wanted to see her child again, as he would be about 8 years old. Soren knew that he was around 3 years away from the start of the original series called Dragon Ball, where Goku met with Bulma, and then began their search for the Dragon Balls.

[Soren… I want to go see my son now, will you please take me?]: gine

[Sure, sure… Let's go meet him]: soren

Soren then opened a portal, and with a single step, both he and Gine were standing outside of the old mountain side home, and Soren could sense Goku playing not too far from them. Both Soren and Gine went and searched for him, and when they saw him, he was fishing in the river with his tail, while he was butt naked, and seeing this sight made Gine laugh a little. Soon, Soren watched Goku fish up a gigantic fish about 6 times his size, and once it was beached, Goku began dragging it back towards the house where he saw both Soren and Gine.

[Who are you guys?]: goku

[Kakarot… It's me, your mother]: gine

[Ka-Carrot? Is that a food?... And my name is Goku, and my Grandpa said I don't have a mother]: goku

Gine was shocked to hear her son claim that he doesn't have a mother, but remembering how he was quite young, he might not remember her.
