1 Chapter 1: Two Wishes

{Hey, my name is Soren, and this is the story about how my boring life as a semi shut in Otaku had ended in the hands of one of the most devastating viruses to ever hit the world since the dark times. You may be asking yourself how exactly I am telling you this story if I was dead, well this is where the story gets interesting, so grab some popcorn, get your chargers and sit back to relax, as this will be quite the tale I'm about to tell, a tale of fantasy, where a 19 year old Otaku died, and became a God traversing over the Multiverse.}

{This story takes place in the year 2020, the year I died from a flu with no current cure. I was a struggling employee working on the front lines in a way, as my job never closed down, as we were considered an essential business. Even though we didn't close, I wasn't complaining, as I got more money in my paychecks due to the lack of some of the staff that decided to quit, or take a leave of absence until the pandemic was over, but who would have guessed, that even with all the proper preparation, and safety gear provided by my job, that I would still fall to such a virus. Hell, thinking about it now, and my current position of power, I just pity the previous version of my existence, and dying from such a thing as a virus is now unimaginable. Anyway, enough of that, I'm getting off topic. Let's go back to the day of my death.}

(February 10th…)

[Excuse me! You need to keep a 6ft distance from me while you help me!... I don't want to get sick if you have the virus!]: karen

[Ma'am, with all due respect… How to you expect me to help you if you won't come close enough that I can see what you need help with]: soren

[No!... I don't think you do respect me!... I want to speak with your manager right this instant!]: karen

As Soren listened to the rude and self entitled woman, he let out an audible sigh as he turned to walk away, and avoid any further conflict with this lady, but as luck would strike, she heard him, and oh boy, all hell broke loose.

[Excuse me sir!... But I don't think I like the way you are treating me!... I come here, and put my being in danger just to patronize this store, and you treat me with this kind of service!?... I want to speak to the store supervisor, and have you fired!]: karen turned super karen

Soren then turned back to her, and being fed up with all the current bull shit he had been put through since the start of this pandemic, spoke with a kind and upbeat tone as a smile was plastered on his face.

[I'm sorry… But it seems that you misunderstand something here… I do not work for you, I work for this company, and my job is to help you get what you need, but I am not here to please you if you don't find what you want… So I would kindly like to ask you to get out of my store, and… FUCK OFF!]: soren

When the karen heard Soren's words, and heard how he shouted profanities towards him, and told her to leave the store, her face began to turn beet red as her anger for being treated as anything but a queen who rules over all the store employees, going by "The Customer is always right" motto, she began to shout while marching out of the store.

[YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE YOUR JOB FOR THE WAY YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO ME TODAY!... I'LL MAKE SURE TO POST ALL OVER FACEBOOK HOW THIS STORE IS FAR BELOW ADEQUATE, AND HOW ALL THE EMPLOYEES HERE TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH, AND ARE RUDE TO THEM!... I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL HATE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AFTER I'M DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!... I HOPE YOU CATCH THE VIRUS AND DIE!!!!!!!]: super karen

After the long shouting match that was obviously one sided as Soren couldn't care less, Soren just waved her off with a big smile on his face. And when his coworkers came over to see what was going on, Soren explained to them the story, and they quickly went back to doing their jobs, and as Soren began heading back to help another customer, he felt a little pained in his chest, and in the next second, Soren fell to the ground as he grabbed his chest and gasped for air.

[Ahhhggg!... S-Someone!... He...lp!..]: soren

As Soren tried to call for help, the customers began to back away, as some pulled out their phones and began to call the medics and police, while others shouted for Soren's coworkers, and in a matter of minutes, Soren was rushed to the hospital by the paramedics, but on the way to the hospital, Soren died from lung collapsation.

{Now I know what you're thinking. That woman cursed me to death, and all of a sudden I died, so it must be a coincidence, right? Well she will be playing a major part in what comes next, and her role was actually quite a major play in who I am today, or better words, what I am today, so let's keep watching on what happens next.}

[W-Where am I?... Am I finally dead?]: soren

Soren looked around, only to see what appeared to be an office-like building, but everything was far beyond big in proportion. Soren layed down on the floor of a gigantic office, as he looked up at the ceiling to see a gigantic fan appearing to be the size of the moon. As Soren sat up, he looked at a gigantic office desk with a dark oak desk top, and gray metal frame, that looked to be the size of a mountain range, while behind the desk, there sat an old man with short, white slicked back hair, in what appeared to be a gray business suit with a white button up shirt, and a black tie, sitting in a gigantic office chair. As Soren began taking in his surrounding, and noticed the man behind the chair, he was about to speak, but before the words could come out of his mouth, the man spoke with an ethereal voice that calmed Soren's soul.

[Hello, my child… I am deeply sorry that this has happened to you, but as you may have noticed, you are dead]: ???

When Soren heard the voice, he felt calm, and this calmness gave Soren time to think about his current situation, and what his next question would be.

[So you are God or something?]: soren

The being seemed to think on this question for a minute before answering the best way he could.

[Yes and No… I am what you humans may consider a God, but those you may know of are all my children… I am the being who created everything, Gods included… I was there before the concept of even Nothingness was born into existence, I am everything, and I am nothing… I created the Gods who created the Big Bang… Is there any other questions you may have, my child?]: ???

When Soren heard the beings explanation, he felt like his soul was about to break due to such a knowledge being placed on him, but being in this beings presence seemed to calm Soren down again as he spoke once more.

[So why am I here if I am already dead?... I assume that not everyone who dies gets to meet with you, or this room would already be packed full of other people]: soren

[Yes, my child… You are indeed here for a reason… You were killed unnecessarily by one of my children… She was just recently created, and charged with overwatching my very first creation, known as Humanity. And seeing that I placed more attention on Humanity, then I did my children, she decided to run away to the Mortal world for some fun, and she recently found this new group of humans who she strongly agrees with, and has indocturned their way of living to herself… I believe you younger humans call them "Karens"... And in the process of you aiding my daughter's needs in your workplace, she felt you offended her, and in the end she cursed you to die]: ???

As Soren took in the truth as to why he died, he felt a little cheated, and felt that in the end, the Karens would overrun the government if they were being backed by a God level Karen, but was soon snapped out of his thoughts as the being continued to speak.

[She broke one of the biggest rules I laid out for my children, and for that, I have brought you here, so that you can ask for any 2 wishes, and there is no limits as to what you can ask for, but I can't grant anything like "I want to be stronger than you" as I don't have the power to make you stronger than me, but being as strong as me can work]: ???

When Soren heard that he could be as strong as the being in front of him, he thought about taking such a deal, but seeing the look on the mans face, and thinking about being stuck as the strongest being in the universe with only one person as your equal, it sounded quite boring, and unappealing, so Soren decided to think hard about his 2 wishes, but before that, he needed to ask a few questions.

[I got a few questions that I want to ask, if that's okay]: soren

[Go ahead, my child… we have all of eternity here, and I have nothing else to do]: ???

When Soren heard the ever looming threat of loneliness packed in the beings ethereal voice, he shivered, as Soren didn't want to be this board in his second chance at life.

[So since things like Gods exist… Then does that mean the worlds like Naruto, Bleach, ATG, TSS, and all those other fictional places exist?]: soren

When the being heard Soren's question, he thought for a moment, as there was only this Universe to his understanding when creating everything, but as he looked into the question, he found that there were indeed other Universe shoved into the pockets of this Universe, with the Divine mark of his children on them.

[Hmm… It appears I have neglected the work of my children for far too long… It seems that there are indeed other Universes, but tell me, my child… What are these worlds you speak of?]: ???

Soren got excited, and without holding back, he then explained about things like Anime, Comics, and all the other sources of Human Entertainment on Earth, and when the creator of everything listened to some of the stories told to him by Soren, a small but apparent smile appeared on his face, as he then decided that he would look into these worlds that had been created by his children, and implanted into the dreams of Humanity.

[So if these worlds exist, then I need a way to travel them all, but I don't want to waste a wish on something like world travel… How about this…]: soren

Soren came up with his 2 wishes, and after thinking on them, he decided that it was indeed the best choice out there, and in the next second, Soren spoke to the being behind the desk who had created a gigantic computer, and was now watching an Anime that Soren knew of, and he could tell because of the Opening song in the background being "We Are!"

'So he has chosen the never ending Anime "One Piece"... Hell, it feels like it might take Eternity for it to finally have an ending': soren

Soren cracked a small joke on the seemingly endless Anime that was up to just passed 900 episodes, and felt that it would take quite a few years to watch the entire series as long as one wasn't watching them continuously, and with that thought in mind, Soren spoke to the being, calling his attention away from the scene of Luffy busting out of the barrel, and scaring Koby.

[I have thought of my 2 wishes… The first one will be to have the Cultivation base of a Creation God from ATG]: soren

When Soren spoke his first wish, the being hummed and then spoke.

[Why only wish for that level of Cultivation, when you can have the Ancestral God level of Cultivation?]: ???

[Well you see… If I have that level of power, I would be at a level where I'm too powerful, but with a Creation God's level, I will still be powerful, but I won't get bored… I feel that the Creation God's level is around Beerus' level of power, while Ancestral God's are around Zeno's level]: soren

The being nodded in approval of Soren's answer and reasoning and then spoke.

[I see… Then I will grant it, and to help you out, I'll make you a special type of Profound Veins known as the Void King's Heavenly Veins, and give you the laws over Space and Time, but you will need to master these laws on your own]: ???

When Soren heard what the being said, he felt ecstatic, as that would obviously be more than just 1 wish, but didn't refute anything, as something free should never be looked down upon, and with this, Soren could alter his last wish a bit.

[For my second wish… I would like a sort of guide, or system that I can converse with, and will show me my progress, and can help me jump worlds without the mastery of Space and Time laws… I also don't want any quest functions, but a shop would be nice, and as for system points, can you make me gain them by killing anything?]: soren

Soren thought that his second wish might be counted as more than one, and be rejected, seeing as the being was silent, as if he was thinking about the request, but in the next second, Soren was smiling, as the being responded.

[I will give you this wish… Everything you asked for will be granted, but I have altered this "System" as you call it, and you will find out what I did to it later, but for now… How would you like to Reincarnate?]: ???

Soren thought for a minute, and then spoke with a bit of a sad expression.

[I would like to say goodbye to my family before I travel… Is there any possibility of this?... And can I keep my current appearance?]: soren

Soren was quite tall and fit, standing at 180cm with medium length straight black hair giving off an Emo punk rock look, and his skin was quite clear and white, if not for working as a customer sales rep, Soren could make it as a model, or a movie star.

[You can do whatever you want, my child… If you wanted, you could stay on Earth, and live out your life, but you appearing dead may cause unwanted attention as to how you are alive again]: ???

Soren was shocked to hear that he could live on Earth again, but hearing the situation at hand, he thought it would be better to say goodbye, and leave for the meantime.

[I've decided… I want to go back to Earth, I'll say goodbye to my parents, and then I'll start traveling the Multiverse]: soren
