Devil Civil War Begins

After Petra boldly declared to the now Lord Asmodeus, it angered Damaidos. Feeling underestimated by a human, despite Petra being a nearly 900-year-old Magus, still made him furious.

Without much thought and without consulting with other lords, Damaidos immediately headed to the location indicated by Petra, ready to engage in a duel.

Damaidos's impulsive action left Rizivim, another lord in the Satan faction, sighing heavily. To him, Damaidos seemed reckless, merely acting on his emotions without considering the consequences of his actions.

It seemed that Petra had anticipated this scenario. The presence of the influential Lord Asmodeus in the Satan faction made this situation advantageous for the Anti-Satan faction.

Therefore, Petra contacted Zekram to send his people to engage in the duel. For her, matters between demons should be settled by demons themselves. As an outsider, Petra would only intervene if directly ordered by Grayfia or Layla, who were at the top of the Lucifuge clan hierarchy.

Later, in a Valefor clan territory, once one of the 72 demon pillars that no longer existed, the battle was about to commence.

Serafall Sitri, a demon from the Sitri clan and one of the 72 pillars, appeared with a calm expression despite hearing Damaidos's angry voice. The black-haired woman with a ponytail was unaware of what was happening, only that she had been summoned by Zekram to come to the location.

Damaidos, initially ready to attack whoever arrived, was surprised to see Serafall. "Wait... Why is it you who came? Where is the Vengeance Magus?" he shouted, frustration still evident on his face.

Hearing Damaidos's question, Serafall shrugged nonchalantly. "I don't know either. Suddenly, I was summoned by Zekram to come here."

Realizing that this situation was not of his making, Damaidos felt marginalized. "Damn... From the beginning, that person didn't want to meet me!" he realized that Petra had manipulated this situation from the start.

"DAMN! YOU'RE ALSO PLAYING ME! DAMN SOLOMON'S UNDERLING!" His anger even led Damaidos to utter a taboo phrase for the 72 pillar demon clans.

However, Serafall sternly reprimanded him, "Retract your words, Damaidos..." Her expression dark, reflecting the strength and firmness in her words.

Damaidos smirked cynically, "Hah, what if I don't? What will you do?"

Damaidos, who was initially arrogant, suddenly realized that one of his legs had frozen. His eyes widened as he turned to look at Serafall, who was brandishing her magic staff.

"DAMN IT! Are you intending to fight me? Serafall!!" Damaidos shouted, his frustration erupting loudly.

"Hmph... Since the beginning, we've been in conflict, so why not continue?" Serafall replied coldly, showing no hint of mercy.

The echoing boom resembling a bomb explosion filled the air, slamming and tearing through the abandoned territory, creating hot gusts of wind that swept in all directions. In the eerie silence, the battle between Damaidos and Serafall became the main focus, emitting flashes of light and colliding dark auras.

Serafall deftly swung her magic staff, sending off magic attacks that curved and bounced, deceiving Damaidos's movements. However, the dark power of the Lord Asmodeus was also not to be underestimated. He launched powerful attacks that slammed into the ground, creating large cracks around him.

Waves of heat and cold alternated, shaking and affecting the battlefield, creating a bleak and frightening landscape. Damaidos and Serafall stared at each other, their eyes filled with determination and a desire to defeat their opponent. Each of their movements was filled with a power beyond reason, implying anger and a desire for conquest.

The battle continued, with both demons exchanging attacks at astonishing speeds, filling the air with flashes of light and deafening thunder. They both showed equal tenacity, demonstrating their toughness and courage in facing a formidable enemy.

Meanwhile, in the distance, footsteps echoed through the corridors of the Bael mansion. The dangerous aura emanating from a red-haired demon made anyone who dared to come into contact with him feel anxious, yet no one dared to stop his hurried steps.

BAM!

The door to Zekram's room burst open, announcing the arrival of Sirzechs Gremory, a demon who was not only the strongest among his allies but also a chosen descendant of the Gremory Clan, one of the Four Noble Families of Demons.

"Zekram!!" He shouted, his voice filled with concern and anxiety that he couldn't hide.

Zekram, the old demon sitting at his desk, calmly turned as Sirzechs entered his room. His expression remained unchanged, even though his feelings were calm and relaxed at the moment.

"Calm down, Sirzechs... What's troubling you to cause a commotion in my mansion?" Zekram asked, his voice calm and authoritative, reflecting his always calm and controlled demeanor in any situation.

Sirzechs advanced with heavy steps, his angry aura filling the room as he roughly slapped the table to get Zekram's attention.

"Why can you be so relaxed like this while you send our comrade to fight alone without consulting with us first?!" he demanded, his voice thunderous and filled with deep disappointment.

Zekram sighed deeply as he stopped his work to deal with Sirzechs's anger. With a calm gaze, the old demon looked at Sirzechs.

"Don't worry like this and be childish, Sirzechs... I also sent Serafall not haphazardly. Everything is under control, and you just need to wait for that little girl to return here."

When the red demon heard the response from Zekram, he was slightly surprised by the old demon's calmness in the face of his anger.

Sirzechs paused for a moment, trying to control himself in front of Zekram's calm demeanor. However, the expression of disappointment was still evident on his face.

"But how can I not worry? Serafall may be strong, but a battle with Damaidos is not something trivial," he said, his voice slightly choked up.

Zekram simply nodded in understanding, grasping Sirzechs's concerns. However, he remained calm.

"There's nothing we can do right now but wait for the outcome. Trust in Serafall; she's not an opponent to be taken lightly," Zekram said firmly, trying to reassure Sirzechs.

Sirzechs took a deep breath, trying to calm his emotions. He knew that Zekram had his reasons for making that decision. Although his heart still felt uneasy, he finally nodded in agreement.

"Alright, I'll wait for the outcome," he finally said with a slightly calmer tone.

Zekram only gave a thin smile, knowing that Sirzechs could finally control his emotions.

Soon after, Zekram's aide hurriedly arrived with news. "Sir, there's news from the Valefor territory about the battle!"
