"Shit..."
Jacob looked shocked and surprised at the girl who had just entered.
Lagertha smiled as she saw that her daughter had just entered and spoke:
"How nice of you to arrive, now Kill him."
The elf looked at Jacob and then at her mother and replied:
"Why?"
"Why? Do you need a reason to kill now?"
"Mother...he is not a monster."
"No matter, this is an order from your mother and queen, so carry out the order, ysabel."
Despite not wanting to do that, ysabel drew her sword, ready to kill him at any moment.
Sindar just watched without making a move.
Rodric was beginning to lose confidence, all because he could be wrong about Jacob and end up with him dying because of a damn bet.
The soldiers began to surround jacob and he looked at ysabel and then at the guards and spoke softly:
"Damn it."
Suddenly, one by one, all the elves started advancing on jacob to kill him.
One soldier reached him first and made a vertical attack, but jacob easily dodged and counter attacked quickly with a punch to the throat and stole the sword from the elf's hand and then hit the elf in the head with the handle of the sword.
The elf fell to the ground and Jacob quickly turned instinctively and defended an attack with his sword, an attack that had the objective of severing his head.
After his attack was defended, the elf stepped back and made a new attack using elemental magic, he left his sword with the wind attribute and launched a medium distance magic attack on Jacob.
At the same time, three soldiers advanced behind Jacob's back and attacked him with attacks bathed in elemental magic.
Suddenly, time turned into slow motion and Jacob began to reflect:
'If I keep this up, my body will end up killing them.... I have tried to avoid this until now, but it looks like it won't be possible anymore...'
The four attacks came at the same time to Jacob, and to get out of this situation, he let his body take full control of the situation.
The magic attack came to him in a horizontal cut shape and Jacob easily dodged and defended the attack of the three elves and soon after made a counter attack and cut the throat of the three elves at the same time.
None of them could keep up with jacob's movements, except sindar, ysabel, lagertha and rodric.
After killing the three elves, Jacob quickly moved into position and dodged again a vertical attack from an elf and counter attacked by thrusting his sword into the elf's throat and then he forced the sword handle up and cut the elf's throat and head in half.
He felt other attacks coming, but when he would defend, ysabel shielded him from the attack and said to the elf:
"He is mine."
Like a predator protecting its prey, ysabel protected jacob so that she herself could kill him.
The soldiers stood back and made a circle around jacob and ysabel.
Lagertha smiled as she saw that and began to sip wine as she thought:
'The main show is about to begin...'

Jacob looked at ysabel and swung his sword to wipe away the blood and spoke:
"We don't need to fight."
"I know, but I was ordered to kill you, so you must die."
Jacob was starting to get angry but kept his cool and started to think of alternatives to get out of that situation and to his luck, he remembered something in specific, a spoiler he had read about the story and shouted for everyone to hear:
"You cannot kill me! I am under the protection of varda elentarí!"
At this moment, everyone present was shocked by that information and rodric spoke in shock:
"Do you know varda elentarí?!"
Varda elentarí, the first elf that ever existed, the one responsible for the rise of the elven race.
A legendary king who existed more than 50 thousand years ago, considered a god to the elves and the greatest king who ever existed, even today, even after 50 thousand years, still tells tales and stories in the name of varda elentarí. So to say that you are under his protection, is like a holy amulet or a kind of law for the elves.
Lagertha stood up in anger and shouted at the soldiers in desperation:
"Kill him!"
Some soldiers regained their composure and decided to carry out the order and when it was going to advance on jacob, sindar appeared in front of the soldiers and killed all of them using one hand and spoke:
"The human is under the protection of varda, so if you want to kill him, you will have to kill me first!"
Lagertha became even more angry and materialized a sword in her hand and pointed at sindar and said:
"I never lose.... KILL THEM!"
At the same instant, elves who were part of lagertha's faction, took swords and started advancing towards sindar and jacob, but to their misfortune, elves who were part of sindar's faction, appeared in front of them and stopped their advance.
A civil war had just begun within the kingdom and as rodric was about to make his move, lagertha spoke up warning him:
"You have no right to enter this war!"
"I have every right, varda was my friend and until I prove that the human is not under his protection, the human must live!"
"Then so be it!"
Lagertha made a vertical slash at a speed that was impossible to see, the goal was to cut rodric in half, but rodric narrowly dodged it and the slash cut through the wind and everything in front of him.
Sindar quickly advanced on lagertha and attacked her using his hands, but lagertha easily defended and spoke:
"Really? You know I don't like men who hit women, right?"
"Don't worry about it, I'll try to do it gently."

Ysabel looked at Jacob and said:
"There is no way you can be under varda's protection, he lived over 50,000 years ago, you humans are no more than 60 years old, so how?!"
"Varda is alive!"
Ysabel smiled and attacked jacob, but he easily defended and she spoke:
"Humans really do lie a lot."
She then launched a sequence of blows as she advanced and jacob defended every attack as he retreated.
Sounds of swords clashing, was heard throughout the hall and jacob defended while thinking:
'I can't kill ysabel, she is someone who is part of the main characters and has important roles to play in the future.... If she dies now, a huge butterfly effect would happen that would probably doom everyone.'
He defended an attack and counterattacked, but ysabel defended and counterattacked again and jacob reflected back:
'Damn it! If I kill her, I'll have to get more and more into the plot and consequently help that shitty protagonist!'
Jacob was defending a vertical cut but ysabel was already expecting this and used her other free hand and drew a dagger and made a deep horizontal cut to jacob's abdomen.
Jacob gritted his teeth and swung his sword and made a vertical cut with all his might at ysabel. She defended the attack, but the force of the blow was too much for her to handle, resulting in ysabel dropping to her knees and his sword sinking into her shoulder.
She regained her composure and stood up using all her strength and mana in her body and then used wood magic and suddenly, vines came out of the ground and stuck to jacob's legs and arm leaving him motionless.
Taking advantage of this golden opportunity, ysabel attacked with the tip of her sword with the goal of driving the sword into jacob's heart and killing him.
Time was in slow motion for jacob and suddenly, his eyes began to change color to a yellow color, the shape was just like a predator's eyes and by pure instinct, jacob overcame the vines that held him and defended the attack and counter attacked ysabel.
Ysabel looked shocked at that, she could tell that Jacob had just gained more strength and speed.
Jacob then counterattacked with an attack to slit ysabel's throat, but when the attack was about to hit her skin, jacob suddenly interrupted the attack.
Ysabel's eyes widened in shock at that, but she regained her composure and decided to take advantage that her enemy had hesitated, but jacob swiped his blade at her throat and made a small cut and spoke angrily:
"If you try anything, know that I won't hesitate next time."
Ysabel know that that was a warning and above all, she knew that she had already lost.
Galiel who was watching everything, reflected on it all:
'He managed to defeat my sister who is dragon class?! Using only physical skills?'
That feat was something absurd, Galiel couldn't even follow the fight, all he could see was the sparks and sounds of swords clashing.
Jacob began to calmly pull away and kept the tip of his sword on ysabel's throat and looked at the war that was going on and shouted:
"STOP!"
His shout echoed throughout the hall, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and look at jacob.
After getting everyone's attention, he removed his sword from ysabel's throat and said:
"From the moment I was in this world, all the people I met, became my enemies and my GOAL IN THIS KINGDOM! It was to make friends... but because of the actions of others.... I have failed again."
Jacob picked up his sword and stuck it into the ground and shouted angrily:
"So, WHO WANTS TO KILL ME?!"
Tension rose in the air and all Jacob wanted at that moment, was to close his eyes and never open them again, so he started walking to the elf who had stopped him earlier and stopped his face in front of him and spoke:
"What about you? Kill me and become the hero."
The elf was silent as he looked startled into Jacob's yellow eyes that looked like they were going to devour him.
Jacob started to get more irritated because of his silence and slapped his face and yelled:
"Be a man and kill me!"
The elf was still silent and didn't dare say anything and after seeing that he wouldn't get anything out of him and probably anyone else, jacob backed away in anger and spoke while looking at lagertha:
"A famous man once said that The injustice done to one is a threat done to all.... Today, the elven kingdom almost fell because of trivialities, so the next time you make a decision, make the decision like a queen!"
After he said that, Jacob was starting to feel that same horrible feeling and suddenly, he started vomiting blood:
"Shit..."
He dropped to his knees after feeling a sharp pain in his heart and soon after, his vision would start to become cloudy and he would suddenly pass out on the battlefield...
