Aeon tried for a few minutes, and eventually, he learned that there was no way he could escape his fate.

Not only did his entire family die because of him, but the enemies were extracting his S-Grade Life Seed.

He knew what would happen to him after the extraction of his S-Grade Life Seed, and it was nothing but death.

'I wanted to kill at least one of the killers who killed my family; however, I will be dying like a dog in my own room.'

Even though there was no room now after the explosion, it was a place where he had lived for the past 15 years, and now, he would be dying here.

'Damn it…why is it taking so much time to extract his Life Seed?'

On the other hand, Master Cyrus was becoming impatient because the process was taking longer than he expected.

'Is it because he awakened two Life Seeds?'

It didn't take much time for Master Cyrus to find out the reason as he focused on extracting Aeon's S-grade Life Seed.

Time continued to pass, and Aeon's pain only increased, making him groan; however, Master Cyrus didn't feel anything towards Aeon.

By now, Master Cyrus was completely covered in sweat as he saw a shining fist-sized Life Seed come out of Aeon's body.

'So, this is the S-grade Life Seed. Other than its size, there are no major differences compared to the other Life Seeds.'

Master Cyrus wiped his sweat as he excitedly stored the extracted Life Seed in a unique glass container he had prepared.

"Scarface, take care of…"

Just as the tired Master Cyrus was able to give an order to Scarface, a red-coloured sabre pierced his body, and, at the same time, Scarface took the Life Seed in the unique container.

"B-but…why?"

Despite being pierced, Master Cyrus remained calm as he asked Scarface the reason for his betrayal.

"Her Highness didn't want anyone to know about the extraction of the Life Seed…Haha."

Scarface's earlier respectful attitude towards Master Cyrus disappeared as he chuckled.

"Haha…I knew this would happen."

Suddenly, Master Cyrus started laughing as he angrily looked at Scarface and mocked, "A m-mere Life Blood Knight thinks that he can kill a Life Blood Master."

"I know, I know that I can't do anything to you, but what if I have some assistance?"

Scarface was not scared by Master Cyrus's sudden laughter as he shouted, "What are you waiting for? I did my part, and now, it's your turn."

'Swoosh'

When he finished his words, a group of masked warriors appeared from all directions and surrounded Master Cyrus.

"As expected of that Royal B*tch. She even dispatched 10 Royal Life Guards to take care of me."

However, Master Cyrus was unsurprised because he had already expected this much when he took the mission.

"Master Cyrus, it's over for you. I can give you a quick death for the sake of old times."

One of the Royal Life Guards said to Master Cyrus in a cold face.

"Since the queen wants me dead, I know there is nothing I can do about it; however, that doesn't mean I will give up my valuable life here."

Master Cyrus held the sabre in his chest, continuing, "Before I take care of you, I will kill this insect."

In the next second, his purple-coloured Life Seed flew out of his body and turned into a black-coloured vine which pierced through Scarface's body.

Scarface, who thought that he had taken care of Master Cyrus, didn't expect the other party to still summon his Life Seed despite using all the Life Energy earlier, didn't even have a single chance to retort before being pierced by the black vine.

"Even though I am exhausted, I always keep something in reserve for unforeseen events like these."

The colour on Master Cyrus's pale face returned as he continued, "Also, thank you for the gift before your death."

Soon, the black vine completely absorbed the Life Blood inside Scarface's body, and what was left of Scarface was the dried-up corpse.

As for the glass contained in Scarface's hand, it fell onto the ground.

"Everyone, take the Life Seed and kill him."

Not only Scarface, but even the leader of the Royal Life Guards didn't expect things to turn out like these as he hurriedly ordered the other Royal Life Guards two tasks.

"Blood Grimoire, come out and give me the strength to fight these dog b*stards."

Master Cyrus summoned the artifact, which flew out of his clothes and shone a bright light on him.

In the next second, Master Cyrus felt a rapid increase in strength as he started fighting the Royal Life Guards.

'What? Royal Life Guards and Royal Queen are involved in extracting my Life Seed?'

On the other hand, Aeon, who didn't even have the strength to move after losing his Life Seed, heard the entire conversation and was shocked.

'No wonder the City Leader and others didn't bother about the rules and massacred my family openly.'

Finally, Aeon understood that the true mastermind of today's events was none other than the Royal Queen.

'Oh Celestial World Tree…please help me.'

Looking at the colossal tree in the sky, Aeon begged it; however, there was no reaction.

For the residents of Silvoria, the Celestial World Tree has become akin to the God of the World and thus, Aeon prayed for it; however, when he realized there was nothing the Celestial World Tree did while his entire family got massacred, he learned that it was just another entity which won't help anyone.

'For it, these things are all mundane.'

Aeon gritted his teeth and decided to do something independently instead of expecting someone to help him.

'Since everything is happening because of my S-grade Life Seed, I will destroy it and ruin the plans for the Mastermind.'

Aeon was not far away from the glass contained, and despite Master Cyrus being alone, he was able to block all the Royal Life Guards from taking it.

Hence, Aeon decided to use it to his advantage and take the Life Seed before destroying it.

'For the sake of my entire Family.'

While saying these lines to motivate himself, Aeon slowly crawled towards the glass container amidst the busy fight between Master Cyrus and the Royal Life Guards.

With that last time, Aeon finally reached the glass contained, and without wasting any time, he took out the Life Seed.

"Everyone, focus on the Life Seed."

Suddenly, one Royal Life Guard noticed Aeon and urged everyone about the Life Seed.

"Huh? This brat still alive?"

Master Cyrus thought that Aeon was dead after extracting the Life Seed, and he was busy fighting the Royal Life Guards.

So, he didn't even notice Aeon taking the Life Seed.

Nevertheless, he could tell what Aeon was thinking and didn't want Aeon to destroy it because an S-grade Life Seed was very valuable, and he had risked his life for it by taking this mission.

'With this Life Seed, my Blood Grimoire might evolve.'

Master Cyrus also rushed towards Aeon while keeping his eyes on the Royal Life Guards.

However, how could he simultaneously keep his eyes on all 10 Royal Life Guards?

Before he could take a few steps towards Aeon, five Royal Life Guards attacked Master Cyrus at once.

Master Cyrus knew that he could not reach Aeon anymore. So, he thought of a plan.

'Blood Grimoire, swallow the Life Seed and give me the strength to kill this Royal Dog B*stards.'

Even though the Blood Grimoire didn't listen to his commands without giving it a large amount of Life Blood, Cyrus was sure it would swallow the Life Seed as long as it was within a particular distance.

Hence, he threw his Blood Grimoire at Aeon to swallow the Life Seed in Aeon's hands.

As the Blood Grimoire flew towards Aeon, it widely opened its mouth, following its senses of devouring the Life Seed in Aeon's hands.

'What?'

Aeon had already used his last bit of strength to get hold of the Life Seed, and he could do nothing about the incoming Blood Grimoire.

The Blood Grimoire directly devoured the Life Seed along with Aeon's fist that was holding the Life Seed.

Despite losing his fist, Aeon didn't cry, not because it was painless; instead, he didn't even have the strength to cry in pain.

However, in the next second, something happened that caused Master Cyrus and the Royal Life Guards to pause their fight.

The Blood Grimoire shone brightly, and the red colour on its outer surface slowly changed into Black-Colour, and a pure White Coloured Skull appeared on it.

'Did my Blood Grimoire undergo an evolution?'

Master Cyrus became excited and tried to call the Blood Grimoire to him; however, the white-coloured Grimoire continued to hover around Aeon.

'What's happening? Why is it not responding to me?'

Cyrus became anxious as he used his Life Seed to pull the Grimoire to him; however, he escaped his Black Vine and fell onto Aeon with its first page open.
