Chapter 28 : Sina's rule

So that's what she said.

I looked at her ; disinterested in hearing what she wants to say . All I cared was the necklace at her hand which belonged to grandma and which should be given to me, not her. She doesn't even properly treasure the thing given to her by grandma. Its a part of a responsibility i would say.

I looked at her with disbelief and i figured she might have noticed that i was in a wary state of mind.

"What do you want, Sina?", i asked firmly.

"Getting right to the point are we ? Well you just read my mind . Then i shall suppose say it right away!", Sina said while came right in-front of Marlin and pointed her fingers to her forehead.

"Make me a noble!", she smirked.

"....what?", Marlin was astonished to hear what she was saying. More like it doesn't make sense . Even if she is a noble ... no nobles can make a commoner a noble . Thats against the law. The only power who has the right to give a status to a commoner is only the -

"Emperor"

"Are you being crazy Sina, like honestly you do know what you're saying? I don't even have The slightest power to what you're claiming for..",Marlin asked in a distressed voice .

"Of course, I know that idiot, but you can be of some use . You  see in this world I am actually a commoner which is a maid, and I really don't have that attention to stay for long that way. Just do what I have told you and take me out of this mess!", said Sina .

Marlin kept thinking  . She was right to think she  made the assumption that she was a maid . Because Loren wasn't able to recognise her straight away but it really and definitely isn't that easy to alleviate her from the maid status either.

Sina looked at Marlin who was still lost in thoughts then she added-

"Just tell your family, I'm a friend of yours !"

Marlin asked in confusion , "But they don't even know which family you are from, and to come up with that thought requires so many question along with the answers . I don't think this is a good suggestion. Why don't you try adopting and later  think of a way to go back to our world?"

Sina grabbed Marlin's  shoulders tightly to the point it started to pain badly. Marlin tried to forcibly pull away but she was fragile so shes weak enough to not pass through.

"Go back...?Who said i wanted to go back to that world? Even if the door does come back ; the one who would be sent to the other world is you Marlin..

ITS YOU!"

                                     *Thud*

Marlin's heart froze for a while. The only person who made her willing enough to go back to that horrible place was her grandmother. Now that shes gone ; there is no intention of Marlin to ever go back again. Like theres actually no hope to ever think of that way. But she has to calm Sina down beforehand and think of a better plan later. Now all she has to do is to comply to her request.

"Alright, Ill do as you say...", Marlin sighed.

"Good girl, you should just have obeyed me from the start then this wouldn't have happened in the first place..."

Sina let go of her shoulders. Marlin's shoulders became numb from the pain and while she sat down suddenly because she wasn't able to stand up due to the pain either . She then looked at Sina while she was walking away.

Marlin then asked her , "If i do that , you will give me my grandmother's necklace back...?"

Sina smiled. Marlin judged her smile as a gesture that she will actually give her back the necklace like she promised after shes done doing her part of the job. So the thought crossed her mind, "Maybe she isn't bad as she thought" But that wasn't the case at all. Marlin is still a kind hearted girl who still thinks people can change and be a good person in the end .

In the end that wasn't the thing for Sina. Ultimately she's a cruel person to the core. Not even thinking of going back to her family and to her mother who loves her dearly. Then what do you expect from a person to show reassurance to someone who she doesn't have any blood relations to begin with.

"Of course not. This is my TRUMP card to start with. To think that thing piece of thing would come to be so much handy to me is pure luck", she smirked.

"Thanks to that old hag which you call grandma so sweetly to her . Ill make you do the things in this world as if you're a servant in the first place!"

Marlin kept silent. Sina crossed the line already. There should be no topic of reconsideration in the future.

No. Its no use anyway.

Marlin gave up on her . Maybe she wont show any mercy if things are later bound to fall onto Marlin's hand one day . Cause shes already fed up with her schemes.

Marlin thought, "You rule for now...Sina." Marlin glared right back at her . Sina didn't notice at all since shes busy having her dreams of being a princess already.

After a while, as usual Marlin's so called friend was in the mansion spread out like fire among the maids and workers as soon as Loren stepped out of her room and informed the butler right away. Also to gather information of the unknown person stead on. Finally it reached Marlin's parents ears.

"Did you hear ? There is a girl staying in the ladies room right now ..?", one of the maid whispered.

"Yeah, interesting fact no one knows which family the girl is from ...", said another.

The parents finally came rushing to her room with a view to knowing that it was an unknown person beforehand with no relationship to this kingdom so as a precaution they came into the room to check if their daughter was in danger or not.

"Of course the parents are bound to be careful of their beloved first child the moment they were born"

When they went in ; all they had to see that Sina wearing the most extravagant dress which belonged to Marlin ; which was taken from the closet. That dress was the dress Marlin wore at her debutante ball when she finally reached the age to get married and where she went to the ball and introduced herself as an aristocratic lady among the nobles of the kingdom.

Now that important dress...

Was worn by a stranger who they don't know about and in fact it pissed off the father a lot. Touching his daughters belongings without a care in the world. While the mother noticed Marlin's expression showing no sign of worries and she stayed calm in this situation. So they really thought-

"Maybe she's an acquaintance of her..?"

After a moment, Marlin's mother asked in wonder , "Who is she ,dear?" Both parents came closer to Marlin with a confused look on their face .

"Umm... she's just a friend. I came to meet when i was travelling outside", Marlin said abruptly.
