Accepting Augustin Protection Request

As she followed me out the room she walked right next to me I noticed she was looking around observing the place.

I didn't mind because I was just like that when I first came here, and in fact I still am. She then said to me "Just what are we going to do?"

I replied with "Well since today I have nothing major to do, I decided we will take this quest that will give us a lot of money, but then I'll kill the person were protecting and take whatever they have."

I couldn't tell what expression she made from the hoodie but she nodded her head wildly like a little kid.

After we made it down the stairs, suddenly people in the bar that was drinking turned their attention towards us with a drunk face and started making comments...

"Looks like someone had fun..."

"Kids youth nowadays are wild aren't they..."

"Did you treat her well kid?"

"How long did ya last?"

It seemed that people were misunderstanding what had happened but I ignored them and kept walking down the stairs with Lumire.

Just as we were walking I suddenly felt a suffocating energy form around Lumire, I quickly turned my head back to see what it was, and I saw energy formed in a blade shape on her hand.

I quickly grabbed her hand intending to make her stop, she looked at me and I could see a cold face and then I said telepathically "Stop it, killing them now in this environment isn't good, we still need to hide ourselves."

It took a minute before her cold face disappeared and her original mesmerizing clam face was back.

We then started to walk again when I had thought to myself "Just how did she do that? I never seen pure energy be formed into a shape as a weapon, not only that she seemed skilled in it, and I could sense killing intent from that energy."

As we made it out the door, I could finally breath a sigh of relief, I knew from that accident right now, she was going to be hard to control and stop her from doing things like that in environments like this.

I then said telepathically to her "At first I was planning to get you registered as an adventurer, but that wont be necessary anymore, I plan to kill the people who requested it anyway.

I then told her "From here on out, I will be running on top of building to building to get to the guild faster, so keep up, once we get there just stay behind me and don't say anything or do anything."

She replied with 'Ok, but after this I want to evaluate my power." I nodded and did as I said I would and started dashing on top of building to the guild hall.

She was keeping up easily, but I wasn't really surprised. From what I saw, she was stronger than me anyway.

Once we made it to the front of the guild, I opened the doors and walked towards the mission board.

I saw that people were whispering and looking towards a certain mission, Obviously it was the protection of Augustin mission and people were ranting about how dangerous it was and how no one in their right mind would accept it.

But unluckily for them, I'm not in my right mind, so I started forcefully pushing people out the way and shoving to get towards the mission.

Eventually I made it to the front, and people were looking at me with hostility from what I did, I could feel their gazes on me but I didn't really mind.

Lumire was right next to me so that was even more of a reason for me not too care, I then took out my adventurer card and placed it towards the mission for it too scan it.

I noticed that on the left side it said "4/6 accepted." I grinned under my cloak and said in my head "It looks like some other people were also crazy enough to accept this mission, and since they did they have to be pretty strong for this world."

The information on the request board said to be outside of the kingdom on the east side a few miles ahead by 6pm and right now it was 5:23pm. I then turned back and walked out the crowd towards the exit of the guild.

I heard comments while walking like...

"He doesn't know what he's getting himself into."

"What a poor kid."

"He lived a short life."

"He was naive."

I also seen some faces of pity but I ignored those too, I then said telepathically to Lumire "It's time for us to head to the designated mission location."

She replied with "Ok." and we both walked out the guild doors, I then said too her telepathically "Once we get their I need you to hide throughout the whole mission and follow us, make sure you're presence isn't shown, I will give you a signal when to come out, its when I kill one of the guards."

She looked at me and said to me in my head coldly "But that's no fun, I want to kill also."

I said to her telepathically "Don't worry, I will only kill one of the guards and the person who put up the request, the rest you can take care of all you like."

She nodded at me and did what I said and we started to head towards the location.

Once we made it their, we had to look around the area for a bit because they didn't give to specific of a location.

But eventually we found them, and I told Lumire to hide. I walked up to their area and there was a white and gold carriage that had two horses atattched to the front, I guessed that's what pulled them.

There was also 3 guards covered in armor surrounding the carriage with swords, I then saw what looked like people who accepted the mission, their were two boys and 2 girls.

One boy was very muscular and build, he had very heavy brass knuckles that I guessed was his weapons, he also had heavy armor on to, he had black hair and black eyes, nothing that stood out.

The other boy had a fairly good body also but was no where near the first guy, he had a long sword that was silver and black on the edges and blond hair and brown eyes.

One girl had long red hair and eyes, a normal face and body and she had two knives on her waist and she had a fierce expression that looked like it had tons of confidence.

The last girl was like the exact opposite, she had brown hair and black eyes, and a normal face and body, but she looked like the soft type that would lose to. But she had a long staff that was glowing a floating blue orb on the top.

I guessed she was some sort of magic user instead of an attacker. Now that I had thought about it, I never seen this worlds way of fighting and how different they were with their magic or mana.

I then walked up to them and one of the guards came up to me and said "Are you the last person that accepted the mission?"

I nodded without looking at him, because I was hostile with him seeing my face.

He then said "Hmph, you took you're sweet time didn't you? Come on lets go it's already 5:56.

I nodded and he turned away to walk away, I smiled sadistically under my cloak because none of the people here had no idea what was soon to come of them.

I then started following them and said telepathically to Lumire "Are you fine? You're following us while hiding right?"

She replied with "Yes, I'm fine lets just get this over with."

I replied with "Ok." and continued my act on the mission.
