In a world where all Audrey had ever experienced was pain and abuse, meeting people who directed even the littlest bit of care or love unnerved her. Audrey saw the world as black and white , nothing in between, she saw Asher as a pretentious perfect chiché boy. But one thing Audrey forgets is that everyone has secrets , some more scarier than others. But when those secrets become a threat to Audrey's life does she flee a person that has shown her only love.
Asher's POV III
How much is your fare?" I asked the driver, as I stood outside the car through the passenger window.
"Don't worry about paying me, go in and make sure she is okay" The driver said with a small smile on his face.
"But.." I started
"But nothing, my dear Elise would have my head if she finds out that I collected money from you in a situation like this. You would need the money more for treatments and stuffs"
The driver probably thought I was poor , I wonder what must have given him that idea. I nodded at him making a mental note to find him afterwards and reward him for everything.
Before the driver could even drive off, I dashed into the hospital probably seeming like a mad person. I ran to the hospital front desk, where a nurse sat typing at the computer.
"I want to inquire about two accident victims that were brought here a while ago" I said to her tapping at the desk nervously.
