Thankfully the train’s bathroom had a big enough sink for me to stick my head in there and wash my head with soap, which made my hair stick in all the possible angles making me look like a wild gorilla. I had to change my shirt too with one of the clean ones I had packed in my backpack.
So when I went back in the cabin, I didn’t smell anymore like cat pee. And I could tell that everyone was happier because of it.
Nova was nowhere to be seen. She had disappeared somewhere in the train, probably still angry at me for hugging her. I still think her reaction to that little gesture was a little bit dramatic.
