Tom Marks, the newly promoted Detective had to relocate due to his promotion. He is not only an upstanding member of the Police department, but he is also the youngest Police officer to make Detective. Together they seem to be able to face anything. But Detective Marks is soon faced with a new type of evil, something he has never dealt with before, his very own demons that lead him down a path of no return. Will Madison be able to bring him back? Will performing his duties cost him everything, will he survive. Will he find love in it all?

I am standing here with Captain Taylor in his office. I am busy handing over our file of evidence that we have collected for the robbery case. One question that the Captain has asked me, makes me extremely uncomfortable. I look at the Captain, unsure of what he expects me to answer him, I say;
