Tom Marks, the newly promoted Detective had to relocate due to his promotion. As we get the signal to make entry into the house, my heart beats faster and faster. It feels as if my heart is in my throat and I can hear it pounding in my ears. I try to slow my breathing down so that I can start to concentrate and focus on the task at hand.
