Tom Marks, the newly promoted Detective had to relocate due to his promotion. He is not only an upstanding member of the Police department, but he is also the youngest Police officer to make Detective. Upon his arrival, he notices that the law that he swears to uphold isn't always as black and white in L.A. He finds that there are two types of law, one for the criminals, and one for the rich and famous. Detective Tom Marks soon has to start bending to their rules to accommodate the criminals that he swears to put behind bars to keep his job. After an encounter with the local district attorney, Madison McKenna, he does not feel so alone anymore in his quest to uphold the law and put criminals behind bars, keeping them there for as long as they possibly can. Together they seem to be able to face anything. But Detective Marks is soon faced with a new type of evil, something he has never dealt with before, his very own demons that lead him down a path of no return. Will Madison be able to bring him back? Will performing his duties cost him everything, will he survive. Will he find love in it all?

A Shitty Liar!

Here's what happened last time on Licensed To Kill.

I go back to Madison and explain to her why I said what I said. She is not happy that I heard part of their conversation. I keep on trying to get her to open up, but she refuses to talk to me. I keep persisting and hoping that we can sort out the problems between us. The more I talk, the more she shuts down. Finally, I get her to open up and talk to me. 

Madison tells me;

"I just can not handle everyone congratulating us on an engagement that did not happen."

I look at her surprised and ask;

"But, I thought you are happy that it happened. Now, you say it is hard to handle because "everyone congratulating us on something that did not happen?" 

I give her "The Huh? Face' because she is not making any sense at all and ask her;
