Classroom Defense!

Charrggeeeeee!

Students erupted in the Classroom.

"GO IN! They can't stop us all! Push through and—"

"Show the bastard our might! Screw this—"

"We got this, brothers! Overcome all—"

They showed such guts, yet every war cry would inevitably quiet down after a few seconds, their entire beings overwhelmed with dread. T-This…so goddamn SCARY!

First, there was a legion of doom…

"Bun! Bun! Bun!" (1…2…3… Curse! Yay!)

Ravenous Bunnies, their gazes making everyone crumble like cookies soaked in milk for far too long. But if that wasn't enough, then came a bandaged "Leader".

"Nice! Good job, keep it up! Make them all fall, hahaha! Now, it's my turn!"

Respect for the fallen? Integrity as a mage? NOPE! He didn't hesitate as he stopped next to the bodies and started smashing their skulls with… a goddamn cooking pan?!

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

"P-Please have mercy. I—"

"Mercy? What do you mean mercy? This is just a test. Dramatic much?" Gray casually replied as he bashed the same guy on the head for the tenth time!

This… somehow was way more terrifying! Why didn't he just bash them once and be done with it?! But seeing this, a few wise asses actually had a great idea.

They stopped moving entirely! 'Don't mind me. Don't mind me. I'm just a corpse. Yep, nothing to see here…' But then this happened:

A fluffy white creature, happily hopping around in joy, stopped right before the 'dead' student. 'Snif! Snif!' It barely smelled the air a tiny bit and started flailing its paws!

"Bun! Bun! Bun!" (Master, Master! He's not sleeping!)

"Oh? Nice catch, little one." As its Master rubbed its tiny head, the bunny rejoiced. But that's when he turned toward the shivering fallen student.

"Goodnight! ^_^v"

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

W-Why did it feel even more savage than the previous beatings?! FAR more savage! And then there was the cute yet so evil bunny cheering by the side.

"Bun! Bun! Bun!" (Yay! You go, Master! All to sleep!)

SCARY!

Even the pets were insane?!

Except, this was merely the start.

Just as few had finally accepted their fate of being knocked out, they suddenly started struggling with all their might. NO, NO, NONONONONONO!

W-Was that… BLOOD?! It freaking was!

The bunnies mouths weren't just bloody, it was all fresh blood. Didn't this mean that they had just devoured some of their fellow students?!

"NOOOOOOOOO! Don't kill me, please!"

"I'm too young to die! Have mercy!"

"I-I'll join Teacher Gale, so—"

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

Gray quickly put an end to all that nonsense. Talk about overreacting! Then, a second later, he turned toward the bunnies, pensive. This was just like a strategy game.

Objective: DEFEND

Defensive Towers? Ravenous Bunnies!

The latter would curse the students to stop them, but the more students they dispatched, the weaker they would grow. Good thing the Blood Statue could re-energize them a bit.

"Sigh, if only there were less students. We're about to get swarmed…"

But while Gray was inwardly sighing, the scene outside had turned deathly quiet. T-This… what the hell was happening in there?! All they could hear were bloodcurdling screams!

Then, as if that wasn't enough… corpses started being thrown out?!

"GULP. Who said no traps in there again?!"

"No way?! A-Are they DEAD?!

"They're alive, barely…"

Some had lumps the size of a castle on their heads, some weren't too hurt but were foaming at the mouth out of it, and then there were the utterly bloody ones.

"W-what is that?! It almost looks like Ravenous Bunnies paw-prints?!"

"Pfft! You think there'd be some here? Don't be ridiculous!"

"Wait, what if he's trying to rattle us? To confuse us!"

"Well, it's bloody fucking working! Now what?!"

The invincible momentum they had mere seconds ago was now utterly gone. Seeing this, a certain student went forward, brows scrunched in worry.

"We need more info! All you shivering in fear, that's what he wants! The more we wait, the more time he has to recuperate. Ah! Anyone has a Recording Crystal?! Anyone?!"

That's when an Astral Mage suddenly stepped closer…

"I have one. Feel free to overwrite it for sure!" As for what was currently on the Recording? Well, that was Teacher Gale's lesson.

How ironic would it be if the Item Eagleye had given them to study the bastard would be the cause of his demise? It was oddly poetic! Seeing this, the senior nodded.

"Perfect! Here, the plan then…"

With this, cheers resounded outside.

Hearing them, Gray couldn't help but feel a headache coming. They weren't giving up just yet? First so dramatic and now so enthusiastic? Were they bipolar?

But that wasn't the only thing that made him click his tongue.

Even now, he was still just sitting on 6 Sign-In Fishing attempt. But the terrified souls had yet to come back to the pond. Probably some Yin fearing the sun's yang kind of deal.

But either way, that would be a thought for later…

"Troops, get ready for the next wave! This time, we don't just want to incapacitate them. We're aiming to create childhood trauma that will follow them for years to come!"

"Bun! Bun! Bun!" (Master's the best! Master hurrah!)

As for whether they had even understood… Gray didn't have time to worry about it. There were already more students rushing in! This time, however, they were ready!

They had barely entered that they started blasting spells! Aim? Who needed that anyway? They were spamming! It was a goddamn massacre!— or it should have been.

A bunch of tiny bunnies watched as enough magical energy to seemingly destroy the world… flew above their heads! The students? They had all aimed at a human's height.

— WHOOSH! WHOOSH! BLAST! —

All the spells would fly meaningless until they crashed into the damn walls! But even that felt so goddamn overwhelming… not even a scratch being made?!

"What?! There's no one here?!"

"T-The walls, they're literally unbreakable!"

"G-Guys, the ground! They're on the ground! They're—"

That was the last thing the poor student managed to say. That's when the students started falling to the ground like dominoes. Curse! Curse! Curse!

R-Ravenous Bunnies?! So those bloody paw-prints?!

It hadn't been a trick?! Yet, why did they feel tricked nonetheless?!

Luckily for them, Gray and the mighty pan would soon make it go away.

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

— Clang! Clang! Clang! —

Outside, the wait was killing the students.

But unsurprisingly, it was soon a repeat of the earlier events, with "corpses" being thrown out. Except, this time was different! Grinning, the senior approached one in particular.

— Obtained Magical Recording! —

With this, they'd finally know their enemy.

They eagerly played it, their jaws soon coming loose. R-Ravenous Bunnies?! Even as they watched the recordings, they doubted their eyes. T-This was impossible?!

But just then, a smart-looking student raised his glasses…

"Hehe, Ravenous Bunnies can't be tamed. That is a fact. So how is this possible? I'll tell you… it's because we're there! They're banding together against a common enemy!"

"Wait… you mean?! If we don't act aggressive they won't feel threatened, and they'll lose all their cohesion?! That's… GENIUS! Let's do it!"

They attacked once more! But this time was different. Not only were the students carrying white flags, but they even came in slowly, softly murmuring.

"Little bunnies, don't be afraid."

"We won't hurt you. We're all friends here."

"We just want that bad bandage guy, don't worry."

They were as soft as lullabies. Seeing this, the bunnies' innocent-looking eyes met theirs and seemingly twinkled as they… Curse! Curse! Curse! Curse!

Curse! Pain! Suffering! Blood! And, of course, the mighty cooking pan! In a matter of seconds, their operation was a monumental failure.

Seeing this, Gray felt weird…

"Are they dumb or what? Still, I doubt they'll try that any time soon." He couldn't help but chuckle, his hands still twitching from the beating he had given them.

Except it seemed like the students really weren't done. In fact, they kept relentlessly trying, their attempts going a bit like this.

Avoid eye contact? → Absolutely no effect on the curse.

Spell Rush at the Floor? → Bunnies glued to the ceiling, cursing them

Attack from outside the class? → Bunnies taking a refreshing blood break

But just as they were despairing, Gray chuckling all the while, there was suddenly a change to the crowd outside. Murmur! Murmur! Murmur!

— Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! —

Individual footsteps echoed in the tense atmosphere.

A senior had shown up, but not just any senior; no, this one was different.

Large, as if a small mountain, and emitting Mana so domineering anyone seeing him stopped breathing. This was… the Tyrant?!

"Destroying a Teacher's House? Enforcers turning a blind eye? Hehehe, count me in! The entrance's there, eh? Time to have some fun!~"

As HE appeared, everything changed…

Bunnies... FIGHTO! What is worse? Then getting defeated by bunnies or them getting defeated over and over by the same bunnies? Good thing my strategies were working!
