The gate glowed, it then spat out a man in a white robe.

When Jack and Jill saw the man, they immediately stepped back and hid behind Old Meng.

The man's aura was surprisingly weak. However, he was emitting murderous energy. He stood there with bowed head, seemingly in daze. His long flowing black hair shadowed his face.

Old Meng walked forward a few steps and coughed. "Ahem, how come your soul is greatly weakened this time? That is a world supposed to nourish one's soul. Did you perhaps encounter a setback, fellow Daoist?"

The man who was called Daoist looked at Old Meng with intensely murderous gaze. Coupled with his handsome looks, he looked devilishly intimidating right now.

Old Meng pretended that she did not see his murderous look. "Oh, you actually got rid of that pink dress that manifested from your bond in the last world." 

The man's face darkened more as he remembered that embarrassment.
