Strength

Walking toward Hamerson, White looked around, taking in everyone's positions and keeping them in mind.

'The first rule in combat is knowing your battlefield, no matter where you are, be it in combat or not, you should know the location of all variables around you at all times.' White thought as he arrived in front of the physical practice professor.

Taking up a salute stance, White almost yelled as he said.

"White Sins, D-rank Cadet at your service, Professor Hamerston. What will I be doing today?" White said loudly while he maintained his salute.

Hamerston was a large man with bulging muscles and a fierce expression. His hair was black as the night and held short.

"Cadet White, Today is a free lesson. You can go and practice whatever you wish," Hamerston said, his voice deep and his tone harsh and unfeeling as he looked at White.

Nodding his head, White turned around and headed directly towards the dummies on the side of the training grounds.

Arriving at the dummies' training ground, White headed to its side where a bunch of training weapons similar to the one he had used yesterday against the monster lay.

Looking at the weapons before him, White went and picked a single-handed sword with a dual-edged blade.

'The quality seems to be a bit better than the ones we used last week. It might be a new advancement in technology,' White thought as he swung the sword into the air a few times.

'The weight and its distribution are similar to the last model of the sword,' White thought and started heading towards the dummy.

'All right, it's time for me to get used to my new stats,' White thought as a grin overtook his expression.

Holding the sword tightly in his grip, he raised it until it was close to his nose and closed his eyes for a moment as he concentrated.

'NOW,' White thought as he opened his eyes abruptly and dashed towards the specially made dummy.

White's muscles bulged as veins started appearing on top of them as he tried his hardest and pushed further than he had ever pushed before.

He passed by the dummy. However, his hand, which held the sword, was still just in front of it.

He slashed at its neck using the entire Strength of his arm and body and the kinetic force he had generated from running at the dummy.

*Krang* *Crack*

'Ahh,' White gritted his teeth as pain shot through his entire arm. It felt as if he had broken his arm in a thousand pieces. However, he quickly checked and saw that it was just fine, and the pain was only momentary from the impact force with the dummy's neck.

After controlling the pain, White started breathing normally once more. Raising his head, White turned to look at the dummy.

Only to see that its head had been twisted and was now connected with its back, and the blade had been thrown a few meters away, slit in half.

Looking around, he noticed quite a few of the people who had been training at the dummies turning to look at him, their expressions one of surprise and bewilderment.

Releasing a sigh, White stood up from the ground and grabbed his sword.

'I shouldn't have done that in a public training ground. It seems like the stat points give much higher upgrades than what I had thought.' White continued to contemplate his physical attribute changes as he tried to make sense of them.

At least until he heard something completely unexpected.

*Ding*

'Huh,' White thought bewildered.

Looking at the small interface in front of him, White remained frozen.

'This, is this real?' White thought and then immediately muttered.

"Status"

'So I can increase my stats if I do training related to them?' White thought as he quickly reviewed each stat and made up a list of what training he could do for each one.

'Strength is just that, Strength training.

Perception could be trained with a bow or something that tests my senses.

Endurance would be the gravity chamber.

Charisma is something I really have no idea about yet.

Intelligence would be reading books, and agility is just what it says, agility training.

Luck would be going to casinos and winning?'

White thought up what all the training for each stat could be, with only Charisma remaining an unknown.

'I know what charisma means, but it doesn't seem like something I could train,' White thought as he imagined himself getting a new haircut and wearing a new suit.

'Could that work?' White thought but decided to shake his head almost immediately after.

'Would I need to go to the battlefield in a suit then?' White jokingly thought to himself.

Taking the broken sword, he brought it to the trash can on the edge of the training ground.

'Time to start training some more,' White thought as the grin on his face finally revealed itself fully.

He went and grabbed another sword from the pile of them and headed towards the same dummy.

Concentrating again, White decided to simply use techniques, this time with as little Strength as he could if he wanted to execute them.

Half an hour later, he finally heard the sound of his wet dreams.

White looked at the three notifications momentarily and barely held himself back.

'Ah, I have to stop. I can't become a Chunni Edge Lord already,' White thought as his smile almost turned bloody at how wide it had gotten.
