The Flaming Serpent, Serpentine
"In that case let's respond thoroughly, let's go Renji!" As Daiki proclaimed, they both darted forward to engage the serpent in combat.
[Serpentine has activated his spell (Prominence Flames)]
With a loud roar, Serpentine emitted a massive wave of flames towards the individuals that threatened to slay it in it's own territory. Alarmed, the two mages immediately redirected their momentum and leaped towards their sides to avoid getting caught in the wave's range.
"Damn, it won't let us get close." Daiki said as they both watched the wave flow ferociously pass them.
"Taking it head on at once is suicidal, we need a distraction." Renji suggested, fighting the very urge not to take care of Serpentine quickly. If he did, Daiki would end up lacking the experience of fighting A-rank boss beasts and monsters which was necessary for his ascension into an S-class Mage.
