"What's wrong with Mr. Alfred?"
Kristen's face changed.
The only reason she could survive in the Barrett family was Alfred's care.
Trey keenly noticed that she stopped calling Alfred grandpa.
Different addresses meant different meanings.
Trey was silent for a moment and decided to tell her the truth.
"Today, Emilee came home with me and grandfather saw us. When he found out about our divorce, he was so angry that he vomited blood and fainted at home. He has just woken up.
"You know grandfather's condition. He is in danger.
"He doesn't want to see anyone but you."
"Trey!
Kristen was furious. "Alfred is your grandpa. Even if you and Emilee are childhood sweethearts and are going to get married. Why couldn't you avoid showing affection in front of Alfred? Why do you want to irritate Alfred?"
Trey was stunned.
What did she mean by saying showing affection?
Why did these words sound so harsh?
