Come and meet my parents

My love,

I just spoke to my parents. They basically spent 20 minutes begging me to give them your contact info. They tried to convince me that involving them early on in our budding relationship will help in some way.

I lied to them that we met during my Christmas break by the way. They still don't know that we met on Twitter so if you speak with them, continue the lie.

At first, I was going to wait a few days and give them an excuse as to why I can't give them your number because it might be an overly premature move and then a couple of thoughts hit me:

1. Doing that would strongly signal my intentions for you (in case I was too subtle with the love notes)

2. If my parents end up liking you, us being together is all but guaranteed (also depends on your parents obviously)

3. My parents can be 'much' but the one thing they're consistent at is helping others (I'm thinking about you in this case)

Honestly, babe, I wouldn't think less of you if you said that it's too early (I have that thought every six seconds and I'm strongly considering not even sending you this). I wanted to pass the six-month test before doing this sort of thing but I wanted you to know that I'm serious about you.

I want to make 'Kj weds Olaf' from a fantasy into reality and then spend the rest of my life making you happy (hopefully in Canada surrounded by tall kids with smiling eyes). I want to make it clear that I love you and I look forward to introducing you to my parents as my one and only one day.

So no rush, don't touch. Take your time and tell me what you think.
