And how will Sydney confess her love to the guy she likes the most, despite her illness? ------- Volume 1 PREVIEWS: *Lenoir, the Senior Sydney’s house was only a few blocks away from the school. While they walked, they talked about what they wanted to sing for the concert. “I think I’m going to sing a love song,” Lenoir told her. “Something that can make your heart melt, Sydney.” He stared at her, and he meant what he just said! Sydney chuckled, not taking her senior’s words seriously. “Geez, you’re a sweet talker! I am so not going to fall for that!” *Matt, the Rich Boy Classmate It's nearly ten in the evening. Olivet had already fallen asleep, while Sydney tossed and turned, 'Great. I can't sleep.' Losing every hint of sleepiness, she took a flashlight and crawled out of the tent. To her surprise, she saw Matt just outside, holding two sticks of grilled corn. She asked jokingly, "Why are you here? Are you stalking me?" He laughed at her, "Yes and no." "Huh? What do you mean?" "My tent is just beside yours, Sydney," he said pointing at it. "Then why are you right in front of ours?" she raised her eyebrow. "I didn't hear you snoring, so I thought you might be awake," Matt said with a grin, obviously teasing her. "Hey, I don't snore!!!!! Why you-" Her violent reaction got cut off when Matt placed the grilled corn on her mouth! "You'll wake everyone. Keep quiet and eat with me," he said, then winked at her. ------- VOLUME 2: Sydney chose one of the two boys during highschool! But how will this affect her college life? "Trouble by the Class President-2"

They all went towards the gymnasium to see what had been happening. On the large screen was a video of a girl giving a bottled liquid to another girl at the back of the stage. Aside from that, there was a background audio:

Greta's voice: "Juana."

Juana's voice: "Yes?"

Greta's voice: "I'm looking for good tea. Can you recommend some?"

Juana's voice: "Ah, I'll ask around. I don't know any tea stores."

Greta's voice: "Really? I see… You haven't bought any tea? Like ginger tea?"

Juana's voice: "Yes. Why the heck will I buy it?"

Greta's voice: "How about the ginger tea that you gave Sydney during the concert? Where did you buy that?"

Juana's voice: "At the convenience store."

Matt's voice: "But Sydney said that you told her that you bought it from an old lady."

Sydney widened her eyes in shock, and her eyes turned watery. She walked slowly and approached the crowd that gathered in front of the big screen. In the middle of the crowd, she saw Juana, who was kneeling on the ground, and her perfectly ironed uniform top had turned wrinkled. There were even some people who threw crumpled papers on her, while another group of students threw eggs at her.

"Sydney's here! Make way!" one of them said, and they waited for her to see Juana in her pitiful state.

"Sydney, we got revenge for you!"

"Yeah, she's unforgivable!"

"She must be kicked out!"

The noises of the students saying "KICK OUT JUANA!" echoed in the gymnasium. When the teachers were about to approach them, Juana yelled, "SHUT UP!!!"

Then everyone turned quiet.

Juana stood up and glared at Sydney. She told her in a loud voice, "Everything's your fault! Why does Matt even like you, when singing is all you're good at?" she laughed at herself as she realized the pitiful state she was currently in, "I even tried to make you fall for Lenoir-senpai using those roses, but Matt did his best to match with it, so I failed… And do you know what made me this miserable? I am the class president, and I am at the top of the class. I am well-behaved, unlike you, the infamous orc-lady with no finesse!"

The principal and the teachers were all surprised to hear a supposedly model student and class president utter those words of hate towards a classmate. They thought that it was very immature of her, and they looked at her with disappointment.

Juana continued ranting, and shouted at her, "The moment I heard about your illness, I already planned to ruin your voice! I knew I'd succeed because you're stupid! I wish Matt and Lenoir-senpai will get tired of you soon, you voiceless singer-"

SLAP!

Sydney felt her blood boiling in front of the girl who ruined her high school life. 'So it was really her,' she pondered. Her tears had fallen and she glared at the classmate she trusted. She thought they were okay during the concert, but it turned out that it was all part of her plan. She could still feel the heat in her hands after slapping her face, and somehow it felt like a load in her chest had been lifted.

When Juana was about to charge at her to get revenge on the slap, Matt suddenly came, and he went in front of Sydney to protect her.

"Juana, it's game over for you," he said, "The Ministry of Education officers are outside. And they want to talk to you."

"Matt… How could you..." she suddenly took his hand, "I really like you, please forgive me…"

But the VIP guy shoved her hand away, "You should ask for Sydney's forgiveness, not mine."

The class president gritted her teeth in anger, "You're always Sydney here, Sydney that… How about me?"

"All I think about is Sydney, and there's no room for you."

Juana's loud cries echoed in the gymnasium as she slowly walked out with heavy steps as the egg yolk dirtied the polished floor. As soon as she's out of sight, the students also dispersed, seeing that the intense drama had ended. The teachers, principal, and Sydney's parents went out to also meet with the representatives of the government.

"Syd, I'm sorry," Matt uttered, "If you see me as a ruthless guy… I'm sorry. I wanted to punish her in my way because I want to give justice to what happened to you. She needs to reflect on her mistakes… If I acted impulsively today, I'm sor-"

But Sydney embraced him tightly as she continued crying, and Matt patted her head.

"It's alright, Syd. We're here for you. I am here for you."

Sydney couldn't help but cry in that situation. Why did she have to suffer because of Juana's obsession with Matt? Sydney's just a girl who loves music very much. She thought that music had been her main purpose in life, and that is very important to her.

Lenoir had just arrived, and he felt discouraged when he saw Sydney hugging Matt. Because his and their schedules did not match, he felt that Matt already had the advantage when it comes to Sydney's feelings. He assessed himself if he really was doing everything for Sydney, and felt that he underestimated the VIP.

He shook his head, trying to forget his insecurities. He knew he needed to be braver, bolder, and more straightforward in expressing his feelings towards her if he wanted to defeat Matt and fight for Sydney's heart. He knew that if he continued getting discouraged, she might not stand a chance against the VIP.

With hastened steps, he approached them and grabbed Sydney's arm to stop embracing Matt.

"Miss Elle is looking for you outside," Lenoir uttered, and Sydney waved goodbye to them, then went out of the gymnasium.

"You just ruined our hug," Matt told him, obviously disappointed.

"Of course."

The VIP student glared at him, "What's on your mind? Seems like you're thinking deep."

"Yeah, you're right," the senior student responded, "I'm thinking of how I can convince Sydney to choose me."
