You knew that Mom was mad at me, and I grounded and forbad going outside last weekend, right?" After she had heard her reply, she thought that her response was like a big slap on her face; she knew that she was lying because her friend's evidence was authentic. The photo has a date on it, and it was impossible for anyone to edit or change the said photo because she used a film camera. Zoey thought of it before she called Michael and asked the same question. After Michael had answered her phone call and heard her question, his forehead instantly covered with cold sweat. Did Zoey found out about them? He tried to calm himself first before answering, "Babe I've told you that Dad was still mad at me and ordered me to stay at home and that was the reason I couldn't pick you up after your ballet lesson." They indeed are having an affair behind her. When most of her friends tried to convince to break it up with him, Zoey finally decided to do it. She then again called and asked him to meet her at the park near our village. When he arrived she immediately said, "Mike, let's end this." At that moment, she was already shredding her tears as she was asking him to end their relationship. Mike wanted to hold her hand but before he even had the chance to grab her left hand Zoey already stepped backward to avoid him. "Z I'm sorry. I know I'm wrong. I know I wronged you but please don't this to me. I was tempted, I seduced. I don't like nor love America. Babe, please don't say that." Who would have thought that Michael has the audacity to say that? Zoey was confused about what to believe; she didn't know if Michael was telling the truth or if it was another set of lies. But before she turned around and leaves, she took aback when she saw him kneeling and crying on the ground while asking for her forgiveness. She took them back her words.

"Don't worry, I was just kidding. Relax, Zoey." Nickel really loves seeing her inanimate expression whenever he teases her. It was like he can read his mind through her face.

"If you don't want to tell me what you did that night, its alright. Thank you by the way." Nickel closed the folder that he pretends to read and proceeds to his next meeting.

Due to his absences, he needs to catch up with all the deals and meetings that froze because of his one-week hiatus.

Aside from that, due to the upcoming holidays accounting department needs to post all the journal entries and reconciliations before to catch up to the company's flow. All in all, no one noticed that the summer outing is fast approaching.

Not until then that all in ASC remembered the event. That night after Zoey arrived home, she started packing her things and prepares her luggage. She is really excited for Saturday because, for the first time after almost nine years, she will see and feel the sands under her feet. "Happy, I'll be leaving you this weekend to your Lolo and Lola, okay? Mommy will have a short vacation. So, you have been a very good baby to them, okay my lovey Happy?" Zoey reminded her dog.

"I'm excited!" she enthusiastically said. Although she traveled mostly during summer around Montana, it is still different compared to the festivities happened here in the Philippines. Summer is one of her most awaited seasons since childhood aside from Christmas and New Year.

Saturday.

It is supposed to be a happy day for Zoey but because was too excited for their vacation she stayed awake until three in the morning. Her mind could sleep a wink because she keeps on imagining what will she do or what will happened to their out of town team building.

It is perhaps reasonable for Zoey to be like this because it is her first time to attend this kind of event that her employer initiate. Mostly when she was still in Montana, they will only allow them to have a holiday break and gives them time to be with their families but as for Zoey's case, she only stayed at home and lurk all day long.

And because he slept late, it is also given that she will wake up late. Our excited missy woke up around 5:55 am. When she opened her eyes and saw that her phone was bombarded with phone calls and text messages, she just then remembered that today is their outing day.

"Shit!" she sat down and pulled her hair down like a mad woman, Sisa, when she was looking for her kids.

Instead of rushing into the shower and starts fixing her, she stayed sitting on her bed because she thought that they already left her behind. It was strictly announced that the buss would exact departed at ASC by 5 am. She has been late for fifty-five minutes. She already loses hope about coming with them.

She picked up her phone and decided to waste her time reading their messages.

What in the freaking world did she do? She couldn't hold herself and want to cry due to her clumsiness. She knew that the departure time is five in the morning but because of her excitement that has a hard time closing her eyes. She is blaming herself for everything. Zoey was shameful of letting the rest of ASC to wait for her sleepy ass for that long. It takes two to three hours driving going to Parakeet Island and because of her stupidity the team would be a line to their schedule.

"You really need to be ashamed of yourself Alcantara." She scolds herself.

It seemed like everyone she knew in ASC tried to contact her but because of her stupid ass, she didn't hear a ring in any of those calls. In this kind of situation, the only thing that she can do is to forget everything by sleeping her sadness away.

When she was about to close her phone, one message pop up. It was from the last person she expected to oversleep on this kind of circumstances.
