Asian-Sealed Corporation isn't a secret to everyone, after spreading the news of the future collaboration, everyone is updated to all the news related to the said project. Even Zoey's parents follow the news about it. They even bragged to their friends that their daughter is working in Sealed Corporation's main office.
"You mean, you've promoted as the accounting officer here and no need for you to return to Montana?"
"Yes, mom!"
The mother and daughter rejoiced. Mrs. Alcantara is happy that her daughter will be staying. There is no need for them to be apart once more. "We have to tell this to your father.
Before the day ends, Mr. Alcantara arrived home and welcome with great news. He jumped then hugged his wife after she delivered the good news to him.
"My baby girl will not leave her papa again. I'm so happy!"
"Dad calm down. Yes, I won't be leaving the country but I still have to go back to pack my things and my dog, Happy, she is with my friend. I need to get her back and bring her here."
It is true that it is hard to live on your own in a foreign land; Zoey missed everyone and wanted to have someone to talk to when she's at home.
Ever since she left her parents' nest, Zoey stayed in an apartment by herself. Before, she stayed in her aunt's house, but her home was too far from her university. It would take her three hours before she arrives in her university; and to save her from stress due to the traffic and drama at home due to her cousin's insecurities to her, she decided to rent her own place.
No one knew how her cousin treated her so badly. She once threatens her that she will burn all her things if she won't leave their house. She hated that Zoey is taking her parents' attention. Like a typical spoiled brat who grew up in America.
Zoey felt unsafe with her cousin around, so she feigned to her aunt and uncle that it was hard for her to travel back and forth every day, her relatives considered the stress and fatigue she has to endure if she still stays under their care so they agreed and help her fund her own place to stay.
After moving on her own, Zoey felt lonely as she was the only person inside the apartment. She missed everyone back at home, in the Philippines, and always wanted to talk to someone.
A week after staying alone, Zoey bought a new white toy poodle to accompany her. She named her Happy. Zoey managed to train Happy well and before when took a vacation, Zoey sent Happy to her trusted friend, she asked a favor to her friend to look after Happy for the meantime as she cannot bring her dog home.
"Oh yes, of course, baby girl. Do you want daddy to help you pack your things?" Mr. Alcantara was so delighted to know that his daughter will be staying now and won't be lodging away from them.

Nickel received the same email from Central HR-Sealed Corporation. He was even informed of the promotion given to Zoey as she was the reason he accepted the position in the first place. He planned to use this opportunity to be close to her.
Nickel's friend and previous supervisor offered to help him pack his things and send them to him in the Philippines. "As this will be the last chance for me to help you, let me help you pack your things and will send to you. No need for you to come back here. This will be my last thank for all the help you've given me especially when my wife gave birth."
His supervisor was in the middle of an important meeting during the time his wife broke her water. As he can leave the said meeting, he asked Nickel to go and take care of his wife first before he finished his agenda. Good thing, Nickel was around that time and rapidly drove his car to the hospital and accompanied his friend's wife while laboring.
"You sure? That would be a hard job for you to do. Can you really pack my things on my stead?" Nickel was teasing his friend as he sounds sentimental over the phone.
"Fuck you, Fuentes! I'm already helping you here, but you still try to mock me!"
"Hahahaha! I was just kidding. Oh right then if you insist then I let you pack my things, just make sure to take good care of them especially my action figures."
There are still three more months before Asian-Sealed Corporation will be launch publicly. He still has time to prepare everything. He wonders what Zoey is doing now.
