Ice Cream

"Does Nickel know about it?"

"No, and I don't want to tell it to him as well," Zoey answered him.

"Why?" "Because I don't want him to worry besides nothing had happened so maybe it's just an imagination."

Alfie felt a painful stab in his heart whenever he remembers their conversation inside his car this morning. He knows Zoey care about the people around her but this is the first time that he felt jealous about her concern about Nickel.

"Sir?" Alfie returns to his reality after the repetitive calls of his secretary. He fixed himself and when back to their topic before dived into his memory lane.

"One week is no joke. I miss you so much!" Nickel took the chance to call Zoey during their lunch break on their last day at the convention.

"I miss you too and I'm excited to you see tomorrow night. Too excited that I'm going to wait for you at the airport instead."

"Promise? Okay then, I will date you after I arrive at the metro. Anyway, did you take a cab this morning? I've heard from the agency that your driver is ill today. How will you go home tonight?"

Zoey chuckled from all his questions; it flows continuously with no breaks for her to answer.

"HAHAHA! Slow down, love. I asked Alfie to drive me over and be my temporary driver for today and tomorrow." Zoey boasted about her newfound driver.

"I have to treat him a drink someday soon." Nickel needs to repay Alfie's kindness in any way possible.

"No need, I'm using my best friend card anyway. What's the use of having a guy best friend if I won't use him to be my driver for two days." Zoey joked around regarding their friendship.

Alfie arrived ASC before the clock strikes at five. As what he what promised that he will drive Zoey for today until tomorrow.

Michael saw Alfie's car on the opposite side of the parking area. Irritated that the people around them once again ruin his plans. Michael slaps his wheel with great anger.

Later that afternoon the two reached Serenity Condominium and although Zoey invited him inside, Alfie chooses to decline as he has another meeting to attend that night. He didn't forget to remind Zoey to stay vigilant all the time if she still feels that someone is watching her.

Zoey entered the building and into her unit. Ready to prepare her dinner and cleaned her room before Nickel comes back.

After an hour of preparing and cleaning, Zoey suddenly craves for ice cream and as she opened her fridge she remembered that the last tub of ice cream that she had was already gone and consumed by her boyfriend, Zoey changed for something casual to pay a quick visit to the convenient store.

Michael, on the other hand, was still waiting and watching for her even though she's been gone for hours inside her building. His obsession with Zoey makes him a real madman for love.

Nothing has been occupying his mind other than Zoey and Zoey alone. He really wants Zoey back into her arms and his time is ticking too quick as Nickel will be back tomorrow. He still wants to take any chance to make Zoey change her mind and accept him again.

Michael was pulling his hair down trying to think of any way that he can do until he saw her familiar figure going out of the building.

Michael followed her as she enters the convenient store.

Given this gold chance, as what he considered, Michael hop out his car and went to the direction of the store.

Zoey was busy choosing what kind of ice cream she will get when Michael reached the entrance door. He didn't go inside and decided to wait for her outside to execute his plan; also he doesn't want to attract any attention.

After Zoey paid for her items and exited the store, she was preoccupied in getting her ice cream inside her bag when she suddenly lost her consciousness.

From the darkness of the night, no one saw what had happened to the girl who was just buying her ice cream.
