Bluer than blue or redder than red?

"Why is he here?" Zoey wasn't informed to the sudden relocation of Michael. She was oblivious to the memorandum that the head office delivered yesterday.

"Orb Corporation requested the head Office to place one representative here to accommodate everything ASC need. It wasn't my idea either so don't look at me like that." Nickel wanted to tell her more but Zoey's gray mood was submerging the entire room and to avoid her unexpected mood swing he better shut his mouth to lessen the possible casualties.

Zoey poured all his attention to her behind task and tried to finish it until she felt a growling sound in her stomach. It was only 10 am but she already feels hungry. "Oh yeah! I forgot to drink my coffee because of Michael." She said to herself. She was to focus diverting her attention to work that she forgot to eat her breakfast and drink her coffee.

"Director may take an early lunch break?" she asked. Zoey wanted to hit the canteen for a while and eat her brunch because she's already losing her strength from her lack of food.

Nickel stopped what he was doing and looked at Zoey's direction. He saw her untouched breakfast on her desk and her pale white face. He thought that any moment from now Zoey will collapse from her chair.

"Let's go outside. I'm also hungry, coffee alone isn't sufficient for breakfast." Nickel wear his coat and fix his suit.

Zoey wanted to reject her proposal, but she was starving and weak to do so, that is why she immediately nods her head and followed Nickel out of the office.

Staffs conjecture that maybe the two bosses are engaged in a secret relationship, based on how they go in and out together and their meals, maybe they are already together. But of course, everything is just mere speculation. Other said that maybe they will go to a meeting.

What a nosy employee?!

Nickel and Zoey didn't go to ASC cafeteria, instead, Nickel drove her to the nearest fine restaurant and looked for a table for two.

It wasn't your typical classy restaurant that only serves steak; it's actually a modern Filipino style food chain that offers common Filipino dishes.

After last night, Nickel craved Filipino food. When he's alone; he only ate salad or steak or any take out food. Nickel doesn't have a passion for cooking. He loves to eat but not to cooking. He really prayed to God in case he will marry someone, that someone is good at cooking or else they will both die.

"Isn't it too expensive here? We can eat somewhere else." Zoey feared that his restaurant will cost her thousands of pesos, so she was requesting Nickel to go for an affordable food chain.

"No ! We will eat here, besides you need to eat nutritious foods to avoid getting sick again."

The two ordered food and enjoy their food when suddenly Zoey phone buzzed from the last person she wanted to talk.

"For the love of God Michael stop calling me. You and your games are not funny! Leave me alone!" after her one line statement she hanged up his call and blocked his number. It was really irritating that her ex-boyfriend loves messing her life from time to time.

"I wanted to tell you earlier that I placed him behind the manufacturing hall and that he wasn't allowed to directly reach our line and chat rooms. What happened this morning is out of my control I didn't know that this Michael Cortez is so persisting and will neglect my orders that he isn't allowed stepping on the second floor. I'm sorry you that!"

It wasn't actually Nickel's fault why there is a Cortez in his building, he was really apologetic to Zoey for giving her stress but his methods aren't always right.

"Hahahaha! Why are saying sorry for his doings? It wasn't your fault. I'm just really in the right mood to deal with him. Maybe my hormones are speaking up and warning me…" Zoey stopped completing her statement when she realized that she was implying that she was having her period to Nickel, to her boss, to this man.

"Hahaha! So were now stepping up into the next level, Zoey? You're now openly discussing your period days to me?? Wow! That was fast!"

Zoey's face turned red from what Nickel analyzed. It was not common to her to let others know her cycle but why on earth did she freely mentioning it to him. If only the ground will open up, she would gladly jump and it swallows her wholly.

"That's not what I meant! I'm talking about my adrenaline and cortisol hormones. You moron! I'm done let's go back I still have a lot of papers to sign and check." Zoey stood up but before she lifts her weight up, she felt a rushing sensation on her south part.

Nickel was already standing when he saw that Zoey is still sitting down. "I thought were going back? Why are you still there?"

Zoey's red face becomes redder as she didn't know how to deal with this case. Should she pretend to be sick again and go home to change or should she ask Nickel's help?

Anyway, why would Nickel is always there when she's facing difficulties?
