America and Michael's relationship went into rocks since the day Zoey returned. Everything that America kept together was all scattered by just the arrival of one person.

Ever since that day, Shane and Leo's wedding, Michael grew colder in terms of talking to her. He doesn't answer her calls nor her messages. He changed his passcode in his house. He neglects America's presence as if she is nothing to him.

One time during one booty call, America saw a lot of receipts of flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals and more in his apartment. All of it was delivered in one address. Those are the things that Michael never gave to America since the day Zoey left out the country to study.

America and Michael started their legal relationship when Zoey call it off between them. She thought that Zoey was so pathetic for effortlessly giving him to her. Nevertheless, it was her gain than loss, so she decided to keep him for herself.

Their relationship went into the next level when they reach college. That was the time Michael introduced her to his family as his girlfriend as she thought. That was also her most memorable day because, for the first time in her life, a family accepted her as who she was; people that would welcome her wholeheartedly.

it is said that other than losing Michael's affection, America feared that once Michael broke up with her, her first considered family will also be gone.

One afternoon America decided to visit Michael at Orb Corporation. It has been so long that she surprised to visit him. America bought him and his staff free snacks and drinks but before she entered the elevator, she met Lisa, Michael's secretary.

"Ma'am A long time no see. You didn't visit us for the last four months. Everyone misses you." As usual, the leeching Lisa was once again sticking her nose to America to benefit at her cost.

"Hi, there! Is that so? Oh! I'm so sorry. I'm so busy rendering my designs and projects came one after the other. But now that I'm free, you will see me all the time." America uttered.

The two entered the elevator and went to Michael's department but before Lisa opened the door that's the time she remembered that her boss was no longer staying in their building.

"Ma'am A I forgot to tell you. Sir Michael was relocated last month. He doesn't stay here anymore except if he has to attend meetings and conferences."

America was confused to what was Lisa saying because Michael never mentioned it to her. "Really? He didn't say anything to me. Anyway, where does he stays now?" Oblivious to what had happened before between one employee of ASC and her boss, Lisa proudly informed America that Michael is now staying at ASC Asian headquarters.

Another oblivious person was America, who didn't know what to expect once she had the knowledge who was the person working there, asked for the address of ASC.

America's world revolves with interior designs, architectural places, modern enhancement of building etc. She doesn't care about the economy and business world. She doesn't even know what ASC stands for or what is that all about.

"Share the location and share this food to everyone." America gave her the snacks and drinks she bought earlier.

Before parking her car, America saw a very familiar person going out of the building. "What is Zoey doing here?" She watched where will Zoey and her peers go before stepping out of the car and then entered the building.

Polly, the receptionist, asked her after reaching her counter. Polly is an easily intimidated person. Whenever she sees someone beautiful, or tall, or smarter than her; tongue lost its place.

"Hi, may I know where is Michael Cortez room?" She said.

Polly was star struck by her beauty and lost her phase. She left America hanging in front of her and came back when America starts snapping her fingers.

"Hello, are you still there? I'm asking where is Mr. Cortez' room. I'm his fiancé." America started calling her his fiancé ever since the wedding of his cousin.

"Oh! Hi! Wait a second." Polly picked up her line and dialed Michael phone to inform him that he is expecting a guest.

But Michael who was in his bad day said, "Tell her that I'm busy. Tell her to go home." Then slammed the phone.

On Polly's line heard a buzzing sound of a disconnected phone call. She didn't know how to tell her that her man asked her to go home then slammed the phone afterward.

"Madam, Mr. Cortez is in a meeting right now, he asked to ask you to go home and don't wait for him because they will probably finish late." Polly used one of her famous directed lines whenever a family member is looking for their relatives in ASC and that person isn't available at the moment.

"Oh! My bad. Anyway, may I ask you one last thing?? Is there any Zoekella Faith Alcantara working here?"

Zoey never uses her real name in ASC. Aside from Nickel and May, no one knows who Zoekella is.

"I haven't heard that name before. But we only have one Alcantara here from accounting department" Polly said.

This information stung America's ear, it was really that motherfucker working here with Michael. Is she trying to use her paws to him? She asked herself.

After that America left the building and went to Michael apartment and decided to wait for him there.
