A hunk and a goddess

Michael placed Zoey behind the car and starts driving to the nearest hospital. For the first time in his life, he felt this strange sensation when he saw Zoey collapsing in front of him. Thoughts such as what if e might lose her forever start engulfing his mind.

His speed already reached the limit allowed on the main roads of the metro that is why after a while of rushing hurriedly his vehicle is now being followed by some traffic officers and America.

"Dammit why today?" he silently hissed under his breath. He thought that Zoey is more important than his record so Michael continues driving above the limit. Good thing was that despite that they are conquering the main roads of the metro at that time traffic is not as bad as the usual. In fact, there are fewer cars on the road as if the population of the metro is less than a hundred thousand.

Shortly, Michael halts in front of the emergency hall and start howling for help. "Help! Help me!" Hearing his shouts, nurses run towards them and aided the lady lying on the stretcher. "What happens to her?" One of the nurses asked Michael who was pushing the stretcher forward. "I don't know she just collapses right before my eyes."

Due to that Zoey doesn't have any external injury, they placed her to the ward, they examined her and also inquired her personal information with the help of Michael.

"What is the patient's name?" asked by one of the nurses on the nurse station.

"Zoekella Alcantara" Michael answered all her inquiries regarding Zoey's identity.

Zoey was still unconscious when Eya approached her bedside. At first, Eya didn't recognize Zoey because she is preoccupied to the condition rather than who is the patient she is aiding.

Eya lifted the information sheet of Zoey and read all the information they've gathered when she decided to see who was her patient. On her first sight, she thought that the patient seems familiar to her and she even took her second look and read the patient sheet before she confirmed to herself that it is indeed Zoey lying there. "Zoey?"

Eya rescanned and reexamined Zoey to make sure that her friend is okay under her care. After checking her out she pulled her phone inside her gown and dialed Zick's number to inform him that his sister is in their hospital.

To be honest, Eya and Zick are not the same as how they used to be. Eya, on her part, was so clueless about the change of heart of her best friend towards her, so when an opportunity comes she always grabs it to have something to say to him.

Before Zick always answers her call after two to three rings but since the change of heart occurs Zick sometimes missed her calls and always transferred to his voice mail in which he never answers back. And of course, as what she expected Zick didn't answer her back that is why she decided to call his secretary to inform him.

"Hello, Lea. Can you tell Doctor Alcantara that his sister is in the hospital? Thank you" It hurts her whenever Zick missed her calls whether it is intentional or accidental.

"Miss Zoey? Okay, Doctor Dolores. I will immediately inform Doctor A about his sister."

After hanging up the phone in the nurse station Eya returned to Zoey's bedside and saw that another familiar person was sitting beside her bed holding her hand.

"Michael?" Eya asked. Eya is two years senior to Zoey and Michael. At first, she wasn't sure was this man guarding her patient friend. Of course, Eya knew their history in which also adds to her confusion of why is he here.

"Ate Eya! How is Zoey? Is she okay?" Michael let go of Zoey's hand and approached her. Confusion is still written in her face but as a doctor, she still has to tell or reassured that the patient is in a normal condition.

"Zoey is okay. Sorry but that is all I can say to you."

"But I'm the one who brought her here." Michael rebuts.

"Yes, I saw it on her record but you're not a family member. You're not even her friend to start with." Eya was also one of those people who hate Michael guts after all of what he has done to Zoey. Which leads her to try to be independent at a young age in a foreign country.

"I'm the only family member that you can consider right now." Michael's voice raised an octave due to his frustration to this stupid hospital rules.

"And who told you that?" Suddenly a baritone voice emanates the ward area where Zoey resides. Zick covered his chest with his arms while slowly approaching his sister's bed. "Since when did you became our sibling, Cortez?" with his intimidating stare Michael slowly stepped backward to Zoey's bed.

"Kuya Zick. I didn't know that you work here. Sorry for being too pushy Ate Eya and Kuya Zick." The raging lion a while ago became a timid sheep after Zick appearance.

Nurses and audience saw the mini-drama skit that was playing on Area 199, the area where Zoey's bed is.

Some these nurses who didn't saw how Zick's sister looks like suddenly had an itching urge to peek to the sleeping maiden on that bed because all those who saw Zoey were all amazed about the genes of the Alcantara family because everyone is saying that Zoey is like a goddess with a part of being an angel face.

If they thought that Zick is a hunk that everyone will die for, his sister is like a goddess that they will worship too.

Others, of course, will not disregard how Michael looks like. They will score him with an A grade from his handsomeness but Doctor A is still their A++++++++++++++ grader for them.
