'Babe thing'
The resort had been reserved for three days. Since it was their last day in the resort, some guests chose to stay and enjoy in the vicinity.
Zoey's parents returned to the metro after the wedding reception, they needed to be back to attend an important meeting so they left Zoey under Alfie's care.
"We'll head out. Alfie, please take care of our Zoey. If anything happens then please call us." Alfie was reminded by Mrs. Alcantara.
"Mom I'm old enough to take care of myself, you don't need to ask someone, especially Alfie to look after me. Humph!" Zoey complained as she put her arms across her chest.
"There's nothing wrong to worry. Besides there are 'bastards' all around." By 'bastards' Mrs. Alcantara was hinting that she knew that Michael, was around her.
"Don't worry Tito and Tita. Zoey is under my care." Alfie assured her parents. After her parents left, Zoey used their room for herself.
Zoey and all her friends were beside the pool wearing their swimsuits and swimwear. This group of friends was sunbathing with their shades on their eyes. You can picture them as those commercial models on television and magazines that wear a one or two-piece bikinis and shades and were sprawled on makeshift beds beside the pool area with big umbrellas above their heads.
Male swimmers and guests were all stunned with their beauty. His three girlfriends showing too much skin made Alfie worry badly as he didn't know what to do with them.
He was about to cover them with a towel at that moment Sweet who was wearing a grey two-piece bikini sat up. "I'm thirsty! Do you guys want something to drink?" she asked her two girlfriends and Alfie who was sitting beside Zoey with a towel in his hand.
"Coconut juice for me"
"Mango"
"I'll come with you" Zoey offered to help her and asked her to show the menu.
Alfie wanted to go with them but Sweet stopped him as she didn't need three persons to order drinks.
Zoey wore her malong to cover her body. She tied her triangular malong onto her slim waist and was exposing her bare back with her one-piece swimsuit. While walking towards the cocktail bar, male resort guests who saw her alluring beauty either stumbled with their own footings or bumped into the person in front of them because they weren't looking ahead but their eyes were following the two beauties that were walking.
While walking Sweet suddenly remembered the 'babe thing' between her friend Zoey and Leo's friend Nickel.
"Zoey, what is the 'babe thing' going on between you and Nickel? Why did he call you babe?" Sweet asked. Actually, it was also Lisa's and Alfie's question. After the reception, all four of her friends messaged her but because of her tiredness she retreated and slept without giving them any answers.
"It's a long story. I'll tell it to you guys later. But first, let us order our drink"
Reaching the cocktail bar, they gave their order to the bartender and went back to their area.
After settling their drinks down the coffee table, Sweet reminded Zoey about her pending inquiries.
Zoey narrated the entire scene without leaving a word behind. The three of them wanted to explode from anger when they heard that Michael was asking for a fucking second chance.
"What a shameless piece of shit!" Lisa said angrily. Lisa was her all cursing and swears friend. She swore a lot. In fact, sometimes she forgot not to swear even when she was talking to a kid.
"The guts of him! OMG! If I was there I would have skinned him alive them let pirahna feast his body!" now it was Sweet's turn to express her annoyance.
"I'm happy that you didn't bite his bait again." Alfie jokingly said. Because of Zoey's naivety, she was easily fooled by Michael's sweet words before.
"Of course I didn't. That's why I had no choice but to say that Nickel is my boyfriend to make Michael realize that he is no one in my life." She still felt awful about her actions as it wasn't something that a prim and proper lady should be doing. But there's no cure for regret, so she just let it be.
While they were talking, Lisa saw that three figures were approaching the pool area. They were none other than Zoey's snake best friend and her demonic ex-boyfriend. She gestured her friends to look at three o'clock from their area and to stop talking.
If you've seen Mean Girls before, these three ladies were a perfect replica of the three main mean girls of the said movie. Lisa led the group of three, she slightly lowered her shades and was mockingly observing America's look. She was internally judging her and she was also cursing her from head to toe.
After realizing who Lisa was looking at, Zoey took her Watermelon juice and pretended that she didn't see anyone approaching.
From the three people, Michelle directly approached Zoey and sat on her seat. She started to hug her and said that she really missed her so much.
"Ate why you didn't tell me that you came back? If only I knew about it before I might have gone with you all day long." Michelle was indeed very close to them, even Lisa and Sweet acknowledged her as their younger sister despite her being a real sibling of their most hated person, Michael.
"Hahaha! Calm down, young lady!" Zoey laughed and said.
"With your big arms, you might crash Zoey's body with one tight grip, Michelle," Lisa said as she was teasing Michelle.
"Ate Lisa"
The new group of five including Michelle were happily conversing. America who was on the other side of the pool got jealous of Zoey once more. She could not understand why she could not make Michelle interact with her like how she was interacting with Zoey! 'Why does this slut have to take all the things she wanted?' America wondered.
