Chapter 82
Ash's POV
I wanted to have some rest when my phone churned. I took my phone to look at the screen and realized it was an anonymous message including pictures which I needed to open since I was nothing without my curiosity. I heard Ana call my name as soon as I was ready to take a look at the pictures making me pause.
"What's it Ana?", I answered not sure of what I was feeling.
"Someone is here to see you", she replied and I felt my heart boiling.
"I thought I told you not to let anyone in. I'm not in the mood to see anyone", I said dropping my phone.
"But he says it's very urgent and he must see you before it's late", she was trying to make me open the door but she didn't know it wasn't locked.
"Did you just say he? Who's that?", I finally realized the pronoun she was using.
"Keenan", my heart skipped a beat after hearing the name while my body was moving towards the door just to get it wide opened .
"I don't want to see him, let him leave", I stopped behind the door before speaking.
"I think you need to see him. I'd be waiting downstairs ", she said and I heard her footsteps fading away. I opened the door and saw Keenan leaning against the wall staring at me.
"What do you want from me?", I asked leaving the door ajar and walking back to sit on my bed.
"I told you I wanted to talk to you earlier but you just left without saying goodbye", he said making his way inside.
"And I remember telling there nothing to talk about ", I said trying to remain as cold as I could but it wasn't easy.
"And I never said I had nothing to say right?", he asked and I just sighed.
"What do you want to say?", I questioned cold heartedly.
"Can you please relax, Ash please I need to tell you something really important ", the way he sounded made me nervous and I needed something to drink since I felt my throat suddenly got dry.
"Do you want something to drink? I'm going to the kitchen to get some water.", I asked in case he needed help.
"I'm fine. I'd be waiting for you", he said and I just nodded. I walked out of the room to get a bottle of water for myself leaving my phone on the bed. I met Anna in the kitchen on phone but she hanged up immediately she noticed my presence.
"Who were you talking to?", I asked wanting to get answer.
"No one so serious", she replied with a smile.
"Don't tell me you were talking to your boyfriend Anna ", I teased.
"Come on Ash, I don't have time for such games. What do you want?", she said and changed the topic to me.
"I just came out to get some water", I said walking towards the fridge. "You can continue with your call dear nanny, don't keep him waiting", I said after getting the water and walked out.
